I have an SD1 which I did the Monte Allums mod to (the basic one) which has worked fine for years but now has gone a bit weird.
Works fine when the od is switched out but when it is on the level and tone work but the gain is just fuzz all the way.
Any ideas would be welcome on what maybe to check first, all the mods I did still look okay but I guess the first thing I could do was put back the components I changed maybe.

If not what about a simple project to use the enclosure, jacks etc ?

Hello! I was wondering if someone could have a look and double check this stripboard layout I came up with for the Celestion V30 Sim. The only difference is that I don't have the 1M resistor at the input and no output cap. Are those necessary? This will be wired directly from a buffered splitter and sent to another jfet buffer hooked up to an XLR output to form a line out that can be hooked up directly to a PA.

Also, I'm using a TLE2074 instead of a TL074 because I have a bunch of TLE2074...

I made 2 quick videos to hear what this plug can do. I like it a lot. It can do an emulation of double-tracking to get a wider sound.
Without this kinf of plug, you need to use a delay, an EQ and a pitchshifter to do this but it's quite difficult to do this without having phase issues.
So I think this simple plug is worth for those who own an ilock or plan to get one.

I'm building a looper for my pedals to toggle between two effects loops with one switch. I cant use a traditional looper where you need to hit two sitches to turn one loop on and one loop off. Anyway, attached are two drawings...one is a 4PDT switch with grounded inputs for the loop that is being bypassed and the other is a simple 3PDT. I think the 4PDT is true bypass, but I'm uncertain since the bypassed loop is still connected to the circuit via ground, but that wont affect sound in the...

Hi,I'm trying to build a passive A/B/Y with 2 LEDs as indicators (only for A,B not a Y LED).
Is this possible using only a 3PDT and a DPDT?

I followed this schematic:

but it seems to be wrong.The way the A+B is wired sends one of them to the ground.The result is only one of the outputs is functional either on A/B mode or in stereo.
How could I rewire this layout to make it function properly?Thanks!

It's not a bad pedal but it has two major issues that desperately need fixing - one is the volume drop - is it just change a resistor??

The other major problem is that the cycling of the pedal can be heardd evn when not engaged - what can I do about this it's driving me absolutely crackers!!! Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!! :twisted: :scratch

This is a guide to getting Arduino development working on your $249 Chromebook.

It's rough, and only applies to the ARM Chromebook and Arduino, but it's worked for me.
I really like being able to switch to the other OS without having to reboot.

So I finally figured out how to etch circuit boards.

My main objective is to create my own Vox Clyde Mccoy Wah.

However, I've been looking for an accurately sized layout for circuit board etching, and I can't seem to find this anywhere.

There's a accurate diagram in a Vox V846 here, but it's waaaay to big. Not the correct size at all.

I lack computer skills to resize it and get it 100% correct in terms of size and all.

I know there are many talented folks here :wink:
