Don't post in this forum asking is there is a schematic or layout or info on XXX pedal.
There is a subforum setup for requests already. It is located here:
REQUESTS FORUM
Any requests posted here will be moved to proper sub forum, and I'll also make nasty remarks about your mother.
also, if you have a problem with your build, post it in the WORKBENCH. these threads are for circuit analysis only. by all means, if you discover something we should...
Morecowbell, thanks for those great links you posted, but if they are all avaible from one location, it's better to just post that one link. If people are interested in discussion about this or that box, that can become a separate thread.
They are all in the $59-159 price range! Anybody has more info on this brand, we're still waiting for the english version of the website..
Hi guys, i really appreciate some help here.
I have an EHX Freeze with PCB Rev B.
The Pedal was working intermittently, and after i disassembled it i noticed two major problems:
- Broken Toggle Switch;
- Footswitch with signals/marks that has been opened before.
After some research i ordered the exact same parts:
- Toggle Switch: 2MD3T1B1M2QES (on-Off-on)
- Momentary Footswitch SPDT On-Momentary On 3 Pin PCB Mount.
I carefully dessolder the old ones, and mounted the brand new parts, and like...
Not sure what this is supposed to be a clone of. Some claim a Blue Hippo but I’ve never tried one. However I have tried many chorus and am an electric mistress fan and this has that “metallic” sound similar to the small stone and electric mistress. With the knobs set very low and kind sound similar to each. Also does a good faux Leslie. It does have a volume boost when engaged and it also must have a longer than usual delay set time because it’s almost like a doubler or even very quick slap...
Another Exar pedal trace, Exar SF-02 Super Fuzz. I was lucky to have a friend in Austria who helped to get this one for a reasonable price. The unit seems to be produced in 1997 or later, as the latest date on the potentiometer was '97.

PCB is standard for series 2 Exars - single-sided, visible in the light.
I think we all pretty much know what this is, but as I have one sitting here, I thought I'd take a few shots.
Outside.JPG
Outside is actually a really nice gold finish. Not at all cream, the way it looks on the website

I've seen this somewhere before... Not great soldering on the wires. I might have to beef that up.

All of the pots that control EQ are 100Kb. I'll get some better pictures up once I get home.
I have a green box MXR 118 Analogue delay that i have brought back from the dead and am trying to align but cannot find the alignment procedures for clock frequency and location of trim pots anywhere...
It is the SAD1024 version with 118-3001 102 board.
I have found a couple of alignment sheets on here but they are for the PT2399 modded version and refer to trim at point A with no reference to what point A is.
I don't have an circuit analysis to offer at this juncture, but I've not seen any gut shots of the Kongpressor on the Internet, so I thought I'd supply some. It looks like it might have originally been named Squash Comp in the design phase.
The clustered strips of resistors is unusual looking, to my eye, I haven't seen anything quite like it in the few dozen pedals I've opened up.
It may not be everyones cup of tea but I think it's a great sounding distortion pedal. It can obviously do metal but at lower gain setting and with more restrained use of the Sub control  I think it can make a great rock pedal.
Anybody know of a pin-equivalent replacement for the IC1 in the vintage version of this pedal? 1, 2, & 3 have the numbers scraped, but I believe them to be RC4149s based on random schematics. According to the schematic, it could also be an XR4212 but based on anything I've found that's a 14 pin IC. The one in the pedal I have is 16.
Could someone/s tell me about my DunlopJH-2 FzFc pedal i have (see pics). It was modified with 3 extra dials incls a bias trim im pretty sure (the one near Fuzz pot) and 2 tone knobs. Google just doesnt do it.
It has a brown pcb and uses 2 Ge tranies marked NKT 275.
How do i date the 2 original pots too;
Vol. says PH 8090/ R1379103, and
Fuzz says PH 8089/ R1379123
Be great to know as this is a great pedal.
Any correct info ( any assumptions i can look into) would be well appreciated...
The wah man WM 1960 is a Chinese pedal whose circuit is based on the Dunlop Cry Baby GCB-95 Wah.

Transistors are BC549B (Q1) and 2N3906 (Q2 & Q3). Transformer is 3.6:1+1. It's not mine, but I might be able to get another look at it sometime if there are questions.
I'm posting this as a reference to save some heartache for any other poor souls that stumble on a vintage Boss pedal and think there's something wrong with it.
A little background:
I have a very early BOSS PH-1
The lot number stamped under the battery door is 7200, which I believe corresponds to July of 1978, only 9 months into production.
The PCB number etched on the foil of the circuit board is 052-283B
I had an issue where the LED wouldn't latch when using the effect. It would illuminate...
Hi guys,
I found a VT BASS DI with some issues and before repair it I decided to trace it.
Actually I removed all thru hole components in order to see better the tracks.
Here you can find the first gut shots.
In the next days I will start write down the schematic
All the VR are 100kB, all IC are TLC2262 except a 4013 and the module is CH34-9.
does anybody have a schematic of the maxon/ibanez af-9 ? i´m curious to see how it differs from the mutron. i know there is an afl schematic, but are they the same (with the omitting of the hp setting on the afl) ?
Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you the long awaited reverse of what some consider as the best chorus ever made.
It's taken from an original 80's version. I can't tel if the actually made SCF is the same or if there are revisions of the old one
BUT some will have to work a little on it : it was already a hellish work for me to put all that on tracing paper (and did some retouching with graphic editor) and lets say I'm not in the mood to finish all that in any CAD especially considering...
Anybody have a schematic for the Digitech PDS 8000? I have one that produces no effect and the infinite loop is locked on. I will at times get a digital squeal when the effect is engaged (and the infinite loop is too obviously) until I go back to bypass.
