Don't post in this forum asking is there is a schematic or layout or info on XXX pedal.
There is a subforum setup for requests already. It is located here:
REQUESTS FORUM
Any requests posted here will be moved to proper sub forum, and I'll also make nasty remarks about your mother.
also, if you have a problem with your build, post it in the WORKBENCH. these threads are for circuit analysis only. by all means, if you discover something we should...
Hi folks ,last week i trace ,a spark booster mini from a friend of mine.just only for learn how is work.
i triple check de values and the schematics.minus the switching system ,is very complicated, and we can put instead , a 3p3t switch.
I have been wanting to do this for decades.... Make a pedal that has the Rockman Distortion sound. The chorus and echo would be other pedals.
I would like to collaborate with those willing to on this forum in creating a circuit that can be used in a pedal format.
The compression and fixed EQ sections seem to have the greatest influence on how 'that' sound is produced. The pedal version would have controls for gain, level and perhaps some EQ tweaking control. A foot switch for Edge / Dist...
Anybody know what causes what seems to be an energization problem with these PDS pedals? The pedal will turn on instantly and light up, but the effect doesn't function until maybe 10 or so seconds. Switch to a different delay timing, and the issue starts all over. I've replaced all the aluminum caps but the issue pertains. One PDS pedal in the past had the same issue yet corrected with new caps. I have another chorus pedal of a different brand that has the same issue, but the caps are also...
I traced this one a few months ago and never got around to putting the schematic up here. The only thing that bothers me is how the 9v supply is hooked up to the cathode of the bypass LED. I still have the box but the owner is not willing to desolder the caps to find the values. Any way to measure them in circuit to get a rough idea of what the are? In my experience NP0/C0G caps are usually lighter in color....like a grey and the X7R caps are a darker brown so that's how I marked them on the...
Transistors are BC549B (Q1) and 2N3906 (Q2 & Q3). Transformer is 3.6:1+1. It's not mine, but I might be able to get another look at it sometime if there are questions.
Well, stomping on this won't be very effective but I have played a guitar through it and I'm sure somebody wants to see the guts and schematic so here goes.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you the long awaited reverse of what some consider as the best chorus ever made.
It's taken from an original 80's version. I can't tel if the actually made SCF is the same or if there are revisions of the old one
BUT some will have to work a little on it : it was already a hellish work for me to put all that on tracing paper (and did some retouching with graphic editor) and lets say I'm not in the mood to finish all that in any CAD especially considering...
I've been reading this forum looking for a schematic for the wah pedal I have, which has a 6 position rotary switch on the side, and green/red LEDs on the top. I can't find an accurate schematic for it (most schematics I can find don't has as many ICs as mine).
I think it is a 535, not 535Q.
Happened to have a schematic for it?
Picture of the electronics (I don't have a bottom plate where name would be):
Anybody have the schematic for the Yamaha DSC-20M chorus pedal? Pedal works under battery, but plugging adapter in kills all life; D2 diode also does not look original.
I hope this question fits in here since it isn't strictly a build question. I'm going to be using a Boss DD-5 as my stereo split on my next pedalboard. I'm hoping to find a way to experiment with parallel mixing a distortion pedal into the right channel only.
Does the DD-5 pass an analog dry signal, or does it pass a dry signal that went through the AD/DA converters when the delay is engaged? I ask because I'm concerned about latency/phase issues with mixing a parallel signal with one of the...
Hi
Im completely new to modding pedals so the crybaby true bypass mod is my first ever mod ,
The bypass mod works great but there is a slight volume drop and after a bit of research its my understanding that replacing the 68k input resistor with a lower value like 47k would help with this issue,
But as im new to the world of electronics i want to make sure i get the correct part , when i search for the part it comes up with 47k 5% 1/4w.
So i understand 47k ohm and the tolerance % but is...
I got a Boss Hyper Metal HM-3 for repair. While I was looking for a schematic online, all of them are just mere drawings of HM-2, therefore I decided to trace the unit...
Hi! I've picked this one up used, and it's an older, not status LED model. Sounds decent, and a good range of speeds available. Anyone saw a schematic for it, or should we try and trace?
I recently acquired this effect and thought I'd upload some gutshots of it. There were some previous discussion and, now unavailable, pictures in the Zoom Ultra Fuzz thread. There's also a schematic for this floating around on a website (which I for some reason cannot seem to find at the moment).
I'm half tempted to get a Liverpool just to see what's inside, but if someone has already had a look, I'd be interested to hear it.
Supposedly, some guy on YouTube bypassed the speaker sim so he could use it with his amp - that's what I'm looking for.
So I have a DL-4 that powers on maybe 1 out of 10 times. When it does power on, it works totally fine and indefinitely. Sometimes if I unplug it after working then plug it back in, it works. Most of the time it doesn't. After that, it seems like 2 consecutive times powering up is the limit. I've reseated the Eprom several times and thoroughly cleaned the pins. I reflowed all of the pins of the socket. I reflowed a few ICs around the Eprom to see if something was just making a bad contact. I've...
TL;DR: Xotic BB Preamp
Differences from BB: 2x Tl072 instead of 1x 4558 + 1x Tl072. 2x C1815 instead of 2n5088. Larger power caps.
I bought one of these to see what it was.
2x TL072, 2 transistors (C1815). Pots are B100K volume, A1M gain, B50K treble, B50K bass.
Input cap is 22n. One IC has 2 Si diodes and a 51pf cap in the in the loop. One IC outputs to a 10uF cap into the volume control, which then goes to a 100n cap.
