Don't post in this forum asking is there is a schematic or layout or info on XXX pedal.
There is a subforum setup for requests already. It is located here:
REQUESTS FORUM
Any requests posted here will be moved to proper sub forum, and I'll also make nasty remarks about your mother.
also, if you have a problem with your build, post it in the WORKBENCH. these threads are for circuit analysis only. by all means, if you discover something we should...
Seems there’s been a good bit released but not much talk anymore. For instance the Movall line up is different. I have the absolute zero fuzz and it sounds great. There’s several other pedals in that series that sound good in samples atleast. I bought the chorus based on a video but mine had a high pitched whine. Was a shame because it sounded like a more tweak able Small Clone. I tried their flanger. It ISNT a mistress but it can sound close. There’s a width trimpot on the inside. However the...
I got this pedal in as it was making a lot of noise. The noise was as loud as the effect and made the pedal useless. I traced the noise to a single 470p cap.
I also traced the pedal:

I got one of these cause they seemed cool. It sounded alright when I played it so I ended up tracing it to see what was going on under the hood. Going off the other pedals by this brand I'm pretty sure its a clone, not sure exactly what it's a clone of but there are some familiar elements. A TS style soft clipper with switchable asymmetry into a two-band Baxandall followed by a JFET buffer. (Yes, I know there's a gate resistor 'missing' from the buffer, it is not a tracing mistake, and the...
I made some inroads towards tracing the PS-001 Distortion.
Turns out it is more than an MXR Distortion+ with a Muff tone control. Structurally it's more like a Boss DS-1.
(Given the similarity of the Guyatone PS-005 Overdrive to the Boss OD-1 it's not surprising there is some similarity to the Boss DS-1.)
Unfortunately there's some ambiguity regarding the tone control caps. (The two polyester caps on the middle-edge of the PCB where the wires are).
Guyatone made a large number of pedals by there's surprisingly few schematics.
I started off looking at the Guyatone PS-001 Distortion but there's not a lot of PCB pics out there.
In the process I found some info on the sister pedal Guyatone PS-005 Overdrive. At times people have tried to guess what this one is as well
I managed to trace the structure of the circuit. It looks like a Boss OD-1 (ish) circuit with a Muff Tone control. Unfortunately no values.

I promised to put the schematic here already some days ago, but didn´t have enough time. So, here it is... if there is a thread about this pedal, moderators could move the schematic there or something.
If anyone has some good pics of the part values please post them. It would be a big help - thanks!
While I've traced the circuit and I'm confident the circuit topology is correct, there are however many missing values. Some values are uncertain due to poor pics. Others I have outright estimated. That goes for both resistors and caps. I'm pretty sure the electros are correct.
To emphasize the incompleteness of the schematic I've only given it a draft version number of 0.1a.
Here's a link to a dropbox folder with some guts of the Guyatone PS-007 Phaser, including a .svg file with the components values. I hope I did not mess with the color code though...
Guyatone PS-007 Phaser folder
Tracing ain't done, but it may be very close to Boss PH-1, or some other 4-stage FET phaser. The MA522 part is a low battery detection, see the schem I've made for the Guyatone PS-006 Analog Echo...
I've trace the KMD KP-100 Distortion. However, due to limitations in the pics I had there's a few things missing:
- pot values, taper and precise connections are unknown.
- cap values are unknown.
- unfortunately the gain resistor, R8 on the schematic, cannot be read.
- a big one is there's so many possibilities to wire the Bass and Treble controls.
It's an odd circuit. Do not correct it to be a Baxandal! the opamp is wired as
a buffer.
I've taken some inspiration from Manfred's trace of...
Found the Schematic by tracing.
The tone control (WAVE) is unusual.

The series connection of the two Z-diodes across IC2a has no effect, because the threshold voltage of about +/- 6.1 volts at 9 volts supply voltage can never be reached.
The schematic:
As you can spot it is a Ross Compressor clone; as I marked in RED the changes they made to the schematic. These changes don't sound really good...... my unit was really bright and 'Boring' sounding!!
Years ago (10 or more), there was a mod floating around for reducing noise in the Boss VB-2 / BYOC Vibrato circuit. I'm 99% positive on part of the mod involved change the value of one of the ceramic disc pf caps. I remember booking a page on the internet that detailed the mod, but I've apparently lost it and I've spent the last hour Google'ing with no luck.
The pedal works perfectly in 8 second mode. However, when I switch to 2 or 1/2, the effect doesn't work. When it kicks in, it basically doubles the signal overtop of the input, i.e. Just makes the sound a little warmer. There are no trails, echos, or repeats. The delay controls don't seem to change anything. The controls all work perfectly in 8 second mode however. I've recapped and swapped ICs. I get the voltages on the 4066 when sliding the selector switch. Interestingly, if I jump pins 3&4...
