Borrowed this thing from a friend of mine to look at. Having seen the guts of the joyo OD and ultimatedrive i was lead to believe they have pretty good workmanship.
Seems the classic chorus is the exception.
Offboard components?
Burnt soldering?
Maybe i just got a bad one, anyone got a comparison?
I bought the pedal for a reasonable price.
The tracing showed that the pedal is a one-to-one copy of the Boss SD-1 circuit except the BJT-transistor types and the tone pot characteristic.
I replaced the Boss componet names by the VShock Super Overdrive names in the original circuit in accordance with the PCB imprint.
The pedal are offered with different brand names:
Century SD-10 Super Over Drive
Denio SD-10 Super Over Drive
Dixon EP-10 Super Over Drive
Lazer SD-10 Super Over Drive

I have an old tan Ross Distortion model R50 that I bought in 1982. It was my first ever pedal! The serial number is 0114591 and it was made in Taiwan. I still have the original box, store receipt, and warranty registration card. The bad thing is it no longer works. I probably fried something long ago using an adjustable 9V adapter using the wrong polarity. I'm going to try and repair it. Maybe just the RC4558N op amp or diodes are damaged. If I can't repair it maybe I'll reverse engineer clone...

the Funk Box 95 and Sanox Cross Over II seem to be the same and have some more parts than the Funk Box 90
I would like to see some pictures like this of the Coron Cross Over 85, Memphis Freq Attack, Memphis Wah Attack and Memphis Attack Trigger to see how different the Cross Over...
Another Schematic Redraw, You can build either the Deluxe Super Space Drum or 9V Battery Model with this schematic. Not Fully Checked but Good at a Glance. One resistor at the Top Right I can't read the Value of on the Schematics I have... 2 or 3 something, i'd guess 2k2 or 3k3.

According to an Electro Harmonix Price List Mark Hammer posted, this was apparently used by 'The Clash' :horsey:
Hi everybody. This is the first time I start a new topic (and post a schematic) so I hope not to make too many mistakes
As I was not able to find it in the internet I traced the schematic of the infamous Joyo Ultimate Drive v2 (2010-11-24 version).
here it is:
Ultimate Drive 2010_rev2.png
For your convenience I prepared two pictures with values and component naming. I cannot warranty the naming is 100% compliant with the PCB silkscreen, as reading under the resistors was in many case...
Hi, I need to do a power supply with isolated outputs, and some of them support more than 100ma, someone can help me with information.
all the sources and schematic that I see are not isolated the outputs, and in some of them lie with the information of the packashing, because the connectors are isolated only.
So ive just gotten into the world of pedal modding and was wondering if its possible to modify an mxr univibe with an expression pedal to control the speed setting?
any help would be appreciated!
hadn't seen a auto/manual switcheable wah before, but hey...
From a current Ebay auction
4 bids in first 15 hours, 9 days to go... my estimate is at least 150EUR -- but perhaps there already is a schematic? No gutshots in that auction though...
Bought a faulty EHX Stereo Pulsar for cheap. Turned out the fault (main out not being effected) was caused by a dead battery (!), or at least the problem went away when I got rid of the battery and put the cover back on. Which was nice.
However, I did something wonky with the input jack when reassembling the pedal (I took the whole pedal assembly out to check) and the jack broke when I stupidly just jammed the plug in. It's still usable without the nut, but in its present condition it's not...
I have a nice old DOD FX70 Stereo Flanger that uses the MN3007 and MN3101 chips. What I dig about this pedal is that with the regeneration turned all the way down, it has a sweet chorus-like tone. I want to get more of that. Are there any mods I can do to this thing to make it less like a flanger and more like a chorus ?
Schematics are scarce for this but, I've attached what I could find on the web. Thanks for the input.
I was given a non-working FX25 today. Most of the wires are disconnected inside and their jacks and power supply are strange. If someone has one of these pedals and they wouldn't mind taking a few pictures of the insides I'd greatly appreciate it.
A friend of mine got this through ebay and snapped a few shots. He's somewhat a pedal freak and should be considered one of the collector gods :) (
Apparently built in Leningrad/St. Petersburg around 1992. Or at least that's the educated guess. This would be based on the use of taiwan caps and the guess that the codes on the chips are date codes. eBay seller, of course, offered a date of late 80's . Tone controls sound like they are variable gyrators, but i have very little definitive to say...
As a Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai owner, I have one complain: the lack of a preset footswitch. One might think it's not necessary, but it totally is.
It's a very very powerfull pedal, and it's a shame to only use one preset for one song. On my Ring Thing (which does have a preset footswitch) you can scroll through presets without having to reach down.
These pedals use an encoder to switch presets. Rotating encoder - full rotation (360º are divided through 20 steps). It has an SPST (momentary)...
Hello
I just found this cool site.
I'm searching for building instruction for the Bumble Buzz Fuzz recently built by Union Tube & Third Man Records.
This is an amazing sound...
it's been a while since my last post or topic as i have been busy surviving :-)
I recently got my hands on a Rozz Delay Box DB-02 and i found out that there is nothing to find out about this little box on the Internet.
Does anyone know anything about it?
I'll post some gutshots soon haven't opened it yet as I want to test it's functionality first.
It's a pretty cool casing and has three pots for Delaytime, Repeats and Blend aswell as four toggle switches i'll know more about as...
