before I started I was looking for a schematic or any other notes or pitfalls and in the process found this
Which leads me to ask, are the kits sold by bitsbox based on verified veroboard layouts at tagboardeffects?
Where does one find the schematic for the veroboard layouts at tagboardeffects? Debugging is a lot easier if one has the schematics on hand. I was hoping to build a few pedals based on this kits from...
I threw together a really cheap and simple mic preamp board so I can plug dynamic microphones into my guitar pedals and amps. It works great, and doesn't sound half bad either. It requires a bi-polar supply, and I've been using a charge pump to achieve that (I have charge pump boards as well).
If this is against the rules please let me know. I'll happily take down the post if this ruffles any feathers. Boards are for sale here:
I have two of these that need a good home. The layout is intended for a 1590A using two pcb mount 16mm and one 9mm pots but of course you can off board wire the pots and put it in any size enclosure you like. These are verified as I've built a few with these boards. $10 ea plus postage.

The seller provided me with some decent gutshots on request...
Looks to me that the temperature stabilising diode has been replaced with a modern rectifier type. Likely Schottky. Don't think they were around in 1967. I have been known to be wrong, though. Other than that slight niggle, looks fippin' excellent.
Seller says he checked with the service guy just replaced a jack and the ground tag.

Looking to trade a pair of SAD 1024's I found in a electronics salvage box. They work and are in great shape, honestly I'm just a little low level to be having something like that and would love to trade them for a smattering or few of 2N3904, 2N4401, 2N5088 and 2N58089 or FET J201 and BS170. Pretty much looking to start building a basic transistor inventory so I'm not constantly ordering things. Let me know if anyone is interested and open to deals because I know the SAD's are rare but really...

Last year I decided to take the plunge and start my own small business. The primary purpose of this endeavor is to serve as a creative outlet and enable me to keep building more gear and playing guitar, although I don't plan on quitting my day job any time soon. Can't get enough of that soldering iron!
Anyway, as a means to attract visitors to my site and interest in my pedal, we decided to try a holiday giveaway contest. Details are on our website if anyone wants to check it out....
