Looking for a particular component or hardware part and you just cannot find it? Got comoonents surplus and want to get rid of it? Post it all here... No sales of working pedals, put these in the 'Seen for sale' section please.
I'm opening up this forum for people who want to get rid of some stuff they bought too much of. If I was hesistant about this initally, it was only because of the problems and altrication that might come from this, rather than this idea of members helping out one another.

Hello everyone, I recently encountered a j201 deficit in my country, having studied the forums I found several models that other manufacturers use (mmbf4393 Catalibread and 2SK208 AMT) or recommend stores (PF5102 Smallbear).
I also found some more options in stores.
If someone used them, then tell us about your experience.
I use them to create amps in the box, in the style of fetzer, like JHS Superbold, Wampler Tweed 57 and many other manufacturers.
Here is my list of possible replacements:...
New to this and after researching a few clones i'ld like to build and now wondering where to source the parts, and thought i'ld find something in the forum (well maybe there is pages in) thought it would be a good idea to have a sticky post listing reliable / affordable suppliers in various regions.
if it exists already my apologies and please point me in the right direction

A guy who runs a component shop in Devon, UK, was selling bags of 400 NOS germaniums,.. some sold for over £600.
If you bought these, or know who bought these, PLEASE check them with a professional transistor tester that can detect internal shorts and bi-polar leakage (not a cheap tester off eBay), as one buyer has reported 41% were duds.
Anyone who did buy these can still talk to ebay (who are currently investigating) via the chat at...
Ok, reviving an old discussion . The tried and tested LDR's (NSL-7532) are EOL and/or you can find them for crazy amounts of money. Does anyone know of new (still in production) alternatives for Univibe LDR's?
I found that there are still 9203 LDR and NSL-7530, but I do not know their production status or if they are EOL.
To be short. Do you know and tested still in production LDR's that make a lush Univibe (using a lamp, not LED like, Neovibe, Habinger x, etc.)?
hello everybody!
after a long time without firing up my soldering iron, i've recently decided to build a new pedal.
I would like to buy one UV-printed box this time, and i know that Tayda electronics offers this service, but i'm concerned with import-taxes and customs duties, given that around 2 years ago rules changed in the EU.
Do you guys know how much i would pay for a small order from Tayda, taxes and customs included?
OR: Is there anyone in Europe doing UV-printing service with...
Anyone have experience, are any of the gtr pedals clones or just made to look like it? Are any of them useable?
I've seen gut shots of the Cali offered there and it's NOT the same circuit board.
Tia, Mods if this should be somewhere else, please move it!
I have a bunch of pedal psu with cables all the same length and want to make shorter & custom sizes, anyone have a good part numbers for these , Mouser or digikey
this is the connector that goes on the cable to the pedal or psu, Tia
I was thinking about doing a Big Muff clone with one of Pigeon FX's Triangle Big Muff boards. I would like to get the BM vibe by using a similar enclosure. The BB boxes get old after a while. Does anyone know where to get enclosures like that, or has anyone here maybe rehoused their BM and doesn't need the old enclosure anymore? Could be an NYC, Russian, even Behringer VD-1 enclosure.
My tech has determined that the rate pot on my 1976 V2 Electric Mistress needs to be replaced. However, he's having a hard time finding the correct replacement.
Do you know where I could get one?
Here's what he said: It looks like the rate pot is open. I looked for one online and can't seem to find the specific one for this pedal. Obsolete, I guess. It's a 1 Meg reverse audio D-shaft pot. I hunted around on the Internet but couldn't find a match.
I'm looking for a replacement slide potentiometer for my black (recent) MXR Ten Band EQ.
Dunlop has the sliders for the black M108 Ten Band EQ on their website, but you can't buy them directly from Dunlop:
Part nr: ECB046
Ordering them directly from Dunlop is not possible, they emailed me.
Dunlop refers me to a distributor in Antwerp Belgium AB Music (algambenelux.be) but they also do not sell to end users.
The sliders (probably) are:

Hey, man. :) This is my first post to this forum. Howdy....
Can I get any input on what *the best* LDR is for the Mutron III / Neuton circuit? DIY is fine.
I used H11F3 opto-FET isolator for ease of implementation but, even after several hours of fiddling with the current scaling resistor, it only sounds so-so. I think the slope of their response curve of is too steep for this circuit.
I've got about 20 CD40106 ICs that I got in a bulk trade deal, and I have no plans to really use them. I'd love to trade them for some pots and stomp switches.
Let me know if you're interested, CONUS only please.
I am looking for carbon comp 1/4w 1k ohm resistors and am unable to find any online. Can anyone point me to a supplier for these. I really only need one for a pedal repair but figured I would pick up some extras to have on hand.
I'm letting go of some excess parts. First to go are these PNP Germanium transistors. Ex-military stock, likely 1970s production.
I've taken a random sample of three pieces (with a Peak Atlas DCA) and got Hfe of 125, 110 and 149 with leakage of 0.04mA, 0.06mA and 0.19mA respectively (i.e. low leakage).
I've used these for various fuzz projects and they're great sounding for this type of application with low noise.
I don't have the time to send out the odd few here and there, so I'm...
Full disclosure: I don't know much about stompboxes, though I have some history in analogue synths and retro computing.
Ok, so I was clearing out the old workshop the other day and I came across 20 good pulls of these TDA1022's. I was about to throw them out but a quick google seemed to hint they are getting hard to find?
Anyways, having been through the ringer of trying to find chips for retro computers and older Moogs, I thought I'd keep them and ask if anyone needs some? How...
hello everyone,
I bought a lot of 2n5457 and I would like to know if there is a way to know if they are original or fake.
grateful follows reading one of the lot.
Hi,
I bought a PCB for an overdrive. When I have the PCB fully loaded I want to be able to swamp out different transistors to see which ones measure and sound best. The transistors will be in TO-92 format. Does anyone make a solderless socket I can initially attach to the PCB to use to swap transistors? Then I'd remove the socket and solder the best ones in.
Thanks
Lee G.
Is it possible to emulate a lm13700 with 2 ca3080? I see schematics for lm13700 to ca3080 adapters but right now, it looks like ca3080 are available but lm13700 are not so I’d need the opposite.
Need to replace the Effect Out pot on this. I've never seen pots like these before. Anybody know who makes them or where to get them? PXL_20230423_194412548.jpg
