Looking for a particular component or hardware part and you just cannot find it? Got comoonents surplus and want to get rid of it? Post it all here... No sales of working pedals, put these in the 'Seen for sale' section please.
I'm opening up this forum for people who want to get rid of some stuff they bought too much of. If I was hesistant about this initally, it was only because of the problems and altrication that might come from this, rather than this idea of members helping out one another.

Hi , im looking where to find all the parts to build some stompboxes.
Im from belgium so radioshack is kinda a long trip to get a $1 transistor.
Theires a electronics shop nearby called gotron.
I was just wondering what parts id buy to get started.
This is where the questions kick in.
Which caps should i buy (axial radial ,.. )
which ones are -||- and which are -)|-
Does the voltage of the caps matter (most seem to be 16-63vdc )
I got a list of their transistors , pls let me know which ones...
I've found the SPDT at Small Bear, and Steve has NO momentarys. Anyone know where else I can find the SPDTs for cheaper? Also I can't find NC Momentary Footswitches switches.
This meter is USED and has a few minor scuffs. I have 2 of these and this one has only been out of the box maybe a dozen times the scuffs appear to be from rubbing around in the box.
The meter comes with 2 test leads, 2 screw on alligator clips and the manual.
Couldn’t find the manual online so I scanned it ;)
Grrr… prices on the newer 9005A are 1/2 what this one cost new :x
I would rather trade it for a good analog volt / ohm meter. Other testing equipment considered.
Sale price $30.00...
Anybody have any broken 80s-vintage Ibanez pedals? I'm looking for a replacement pot for this pedal, this is from the mid 80s, it has the crappy setup with pots & jacks mounted onto the board... it's kind of a P.O.S. but sounds good & I'd like to repair it if possible. You can see where the plastic shaft is snapped off on the lower right, I need to replace the pot, not sure what the value is, I think 500k -- it's the drive knob for an STL Super Tube overdrive... exact same thing as the Maxon &...
I have 16mm alpha pots and would like to go even smaller while trying to retain the soldier lugs. I found some alpha 12mm with lugs at mouser, but they are limited in the values available.
Hi everyone. I've been lurking around here for quite some time absorbing everything I can. The more I read the more fanatical I get. There's not a piece of gear I own that hasn't been poked, prodded, modded, or ruined at one point or another. Anyway I found some pretty good info about that mojo that everyone craves here
I didn't see that anyone had posted this anywhere so I figured I'd share it with everyone who's a little new at this(like myself).
I've had a couple people ask me if I have any on hand but right now I only have a few. I have to place an order with Digikey soon so if you would like some, please PM me with your shipping info and number of diodes you'd like. They are 49 cents each plus shipping to you. The Digikey part number is MA2C85600ECT-ND but there is a $5.00 surcharge if you do not order $25.00 worth parts. A group buy avoids the surcharge and I usually order more than $25.00 worth of stuff. If you're interested, let...
So far I have built just one pedal and bought only what I needed for that build. I have a few projects planned (analogguru boost, SHO, Gainster) and have just been buying 2+ times as much as I need of each component. What I'd really like to do is set up a prototyping board (a la madbean) and have a wide variety of commonly used components on hand so I can try out the schematics that pique my interest. So I guess I have two questions:
1) Is there a core list of common components that I should...
I have an IC I'm using in one of my builds that I cannot identify. I'm not sure when I acquired it. The lettering on the top has been removed. The only distinguishing feature is a circle on the bottom of the chip with the characters M9 embossed on the surface inside the circle. I tried to take pictures but my camera doesn't capture enough detail to be of any assistance. I'll see about borrowing a camera tomorrow to get some pics posted. In the meantime I figured I'd ask if anyone here knows of...
Since I'm not getting anywhere with the die-cast enclosure distributors, I'm going to plan B.
I do tech support/web design for a metal fab shop in town and I have talked to the owner/foreman about getting some boxes made up. The problem I'm running into is deciding what dimensions to make the boxes to.
I already have a fulldrive-sized box in mind, but other than that, I don't really know. The boxes would be stamped/folded from aluminum sheets and will have the inserts for the screws welded...
As result of placing an add on a local (countrywide) website asking for SAD1024's. One is ok, of you have more let me know.
45 SAD1024's
9 TDA1022s'
and some Panasonic stuff of which the MN3006 and the MN3002 are worth mentioning the most. I paid dearly for these so it cannot be called a bargain but still far less than the more than decent price Steve Daniels asks for his SAD's. The few I sampled in my MXR flange were OK.
