Looking for a particular component or hardware part and you just cannot find it? Got comoonents surplus and want to get rid of it? Post it all here... No sales of working pedals, put these in the 'Seen for sale' section please.
I'm opening up this forum for people who want to get rid of some stuff they bought too much of. If I was hesistant about this initally, it was only because of the problems and altrication that might come from this, rather than this idea of members helping out one another.

Lately I've gotten really into Fuzz Face building again which is lot's of fun.
I've got a great selection of transistors, both germanium and silicon, but this far I've been unable to get my hands on some BC183L's.
I've got both B's and C's (built a very nice BC183C FF today :-) but I'm curious about the L's.
Not that I expect something magical about them, but I'd love to try some
:-)
Anybody that got some that I could buy?
Hello guys, I've decided to put a few of my PCBs for sale. I've designed these for myself but since I don't have any use for the surplus I might as well do something with them. I have of course built/tested of all these for myself and will send the bill of material/build instructions that you need.
Picture of the little buggers:
Here's what I have for sale:
- Regular HM2: The classic chainsaw Swedish death metal tone. With an added mid pot. Made for a 1590BB enclosure.
I recently came upon a brick and mortar electronics store and hidden in a box in a the surplus section was this NKT275.
The case matches a few trannies that I seen from original Fuzz Faces but the label isn't the same kind. I haven't built the geofx circuit to test them but does anyone have an info on these?
Trying to find a 0.1uF orange axial Iskra cap for a Tonebender MKII build. Like in the attached photo (wrong value in the photo but gives an idea of the kind of cap I’m shooting for).
Can offer cash or trade for rare Iskra caps (the 10nF kind used in MKIIs) and Wima caps (TFM, TFF). Also have a ton of old Mullard and Newmarket germaniums.
I got some MKII size veroboards for sale made from vintage brown phenolic sheets.
8x20 holes, drilled and cut to size around 78x33mm +/-1mm.
There are few shades/colours as You can see on the photo, as phenolic sheets were from different batches. Most of them has some slight scratches on non-copper side as You can see, but copper side is nice and shiny.
Price is 6GBP per one piece. If You want take 10, I will give one extra for free and also another one from b-stock - with...
I don´t know if this is of interest to anyone or ok to post, but I thought I´d give it a shot:
For about three years I´ve been into winding inductor-coils for Wah-Wah-Pedals, mostly for private research and having something for the occasional mod I´m doing. I´ve come to a point where this shows some serious, useable and consistent results.
Since ferrite cores/bobbins have stacked up in my rack to a substantial stash I thought I might offer my inductors here (if that is ok for...
Like the topic states, I desperately need a Gary-Kincom branded breadboard (830-point) as sold by Tayda Electronics. They've recently changed the design slightly so I'm hoping someone has one laying around they aren't using.
I tapped in to a large supply of old-new components, and was given a sample of Germanium 1N538s from the 1960s, and 2N1008A Germanium transistors. I'm putting the 1N538s in a TS tonight to try them out, and decide if I want to go back for more (he's got a *lot*, and offered me an he doesn't know what he's got level amazing price vs finding them online, if I buy them all). He has multiple other 60s/70s part numbers in his stash that he's offering me in whole lots.
Hi, I am having a little trouble with this 3P4T rotary switch (“non-shorting”, or “break before make”), necessary for the XP-1000 build (it needs to break the connection every time so that it trips a voltage sensor). I've ordered non shorting rotaries from 2 different suppliers but they seem to be shorting both times! I even rigged it up to a volt meter to do a continuity test and it does not skip. Does anyone know of a 3p4t that will for sure trip?
Clearing up a few PCBs that I don't expect to be building any time soon, first come first served. £1 shipping anywhere in the world no matter how many you order.

Pigeon FX used to sell the old school style brown PCBs here in the UK but I've tried contacting him through his website with no reply. I really want to build a couple more using those old PCBs.. anybody have a source for them? Cheers :thumbsup
I've opened up a 1970s(?) Shure Vocal Master. And it's got an burnt out old thermosister, too burnt for me to tell what it was. Overall the thing is in decent shape but I'd like to replace it that part the manual lists the part as a Workman No. FRT-2 which I can't seem to find on mouser. Does anyone know what a similar part that I could find would be? I can post some pictures of the insides of the thing if people are interested in seeing a blast from the past.
Hello
I'm willing to build a passive audio isolation transformer to get rid of some possible hum on some FX chains.
So, i need to buy some transformers, and I am looking for a sensible balance between sonically transparent enough and cheap .
I am not willing to buy expensive Jensen or Lundhall transformers : i'm looking for sub-10$ transformers.
Some Neutrik or Monacor are in the 10-15$ ballpark and well rated among users, but i am wondering if the mega cheapo chinese transformers from Ebay...
I have 6 pieces of the original version of the Aqua Puss delay PCB that was sold here at FSB. I ended up buying some of the revised PCBs before I got these loaded. I'd like to get $5 each plus $2 shipping in the US. Please email me at theehman AT gmail DOT com, do not PM.
The original thread:
The boards will need a small jumper on the back. See this post here:
Does anyone know where i can get Boardmount switches, preferred with two poles? I want to use board mount switches that height match my board mount pots. The typical kind with two support lugs on the sides , little green plastic ones. My standard 2p4t switches do not line up with them, too tall
Morley PSW Pro Series Wah schematic calls for an LDR with 150-250 ohm LUX resistance. These do not seem to be very easy to source, other than as Morley M79-211564-000 spare part from various places. Far too much time wasted trawling the web has turned up what looks like a suitable alternative (or possibly actual source) - NSL-6112 by Luna Optoelectronics. 170 ohms on, >1.3M off - which seems relatively easy to get hold of (digikey etc);
Reason for me looking was an old PSW which I have not...
Just wondering if anyone took the plunge on a pair of those genuine NKT275s from the seller 'elitetone' on ebay?
I bought a pair for someone who wants them in a Fuzz face I'm building for them.
I'd be very curious to hear about what readings they got from them, compared to the leakage described in the listing.
Please, I don't want to get into a discussion about 'mojo' or whether they are worth the money or not, it's boring and I'm not interested.
I really would just like to hear from...
I'm about to build a clone of the AM NKT Sunface but am not sure on what to look for in finding a suitable pair of Ge NKT275's. There are a few on eBay however they also say ASX12D on them - are these still real NKT275?
The tested specs also have the Hfe as pretty much the same value for both of the matched pairs, whereas I read that Q1 should be 80-90 and Q2 120-140. Will the pairs with a same Hfe value be suitable? Thanks.
I've decided to clean house and sell some parts I probably won't get around to using. Three painted 1590As, a new 1590B in shrinkwrap, and a 125B light plate from Small Bear. They're listed on reverb, so if you have questions feel free to contact me there:
I want to build up a couple of tone bender type pedals and need some germs for these,
any current good recommendations ?
I'd like to avoid small bear as I despise their shipping model where the cost goes up in relation to the value of your order,
not the size or weight , tia for ideas!
