Hey guys, I bought this to repair a friends Music Man HD130 amp. We ended up selvaging an older working output transformer from a donor amp so this new one has been sitting on my shelf for a few weeks. It's been installed and tested only to insure it works. The leads are cut - they are long enough to reach just fine in any compatible Music Man amp and none are too short to be able to add on to. It's a Mojotone branded output transformer which sells for $128. I'm asking for $80 plus shipping....

I need some OC75's in about the say 78-83 gain range. Everyone seems to love the 70 and 100 gainers and I have plenty in that gain range to trade. I also have other transistors if you'd rather trade for something else.

I am trying to put together a test rig and was looking for the mouser number for terminal strips like the ones used on the Beavis Board or his test rig. I am wanting to get two 6 position (12 screws, two rows of six) and a 12 position (24 screws in two rows of twelve) if that makes and sense. The price of knobs is destroying my calm. The expense of knobs is higher than my 1590bb boxes on some builds. :slap:

Does anyone have a good source for decent knobs. I would love to buy pro quality knobs for less than $1 US each.

I ordered some plastic knobs from futurlec. They are terrible quality and I will not be using them on pedals. The price was good, but They were not level or exactly round even. Mouser knobs are expensive.

OK, so I'm modding 2 GCB 95s(rev H) with a view to selling them on ebay.
I've got them all sprayed up gloss red and black and they look amazing :D
Now onto to the basic mods.

I figure I'll true bypass them with a DPDT, change a few resistors with a lot of old CC's that I have lying around
specifically the vocal mod to 68K, gain/bass to 330ohm and volume to 47k.
Was going to change the sweep cap to 0.022 and perhaps change out the transistors to 2N5172s.

Anyway, got started, all going well....

Notice went out late 2008 that Panasonic ECQ-B's are discontinued. Supply has been good until now, but is drying up quick. I have to source a fairly large amount of capacitors soon, and would like to find a similar alternative - same spacing, size, material, etc.

Anyone have any ideas of an alternative product to check out? I'd like to find something before I have to make a decision on layout spacing.

I'm needing some 8/32 pan head machine screws that are 1 long - I only need the 5 but as I'm in the UK I can't seem to get them anywhere?

I am (trying) to build a stompbox and want to use a boss input for power (the standard kind that are on all their 9V boxes) I am having trouble, though, finding a jack to connect it to my circuit. Where could I buy one (I have been searching small bear and it would be very helpful if I could buy one off of there if possible, but I haven't been able to find one there).

does it have to be the soft touch? would an x wing momentary switch fit?

Hello, I've been selling off alot of my parts on BYOC recently (I need the money and I'm done building effects for a little while) and i've decided to sell of my treasured ADA flanger board and SAD1024 that I've been saving to build for awhile. I got the chip and board of BAJ2k on BYOC awhile ago (he's a trustworthy guy) so I know they're real.

I'll sell them as a set for $60 or $45 for the SAD and $15 for the board. Feel free to make an offer though!

I ordered a drilled 1590B from PPP and the jack holes are drilled too close to the edge to use a normal Switchcraft type jack. Is there anything with a smaller profile that I can use?
