Everybody knows that a TS sounds horrible into a Fender, while it sounds great into a Marshall.
Also, everybody knows that a (tube) amp on the often quoted onset of clipping masks a lot of the harsh tones produced by dirt boxes.
Stacking distortion pedals can mimic that. I cannot remember the reason (probably one of Wampler's blogs) for getting the Euphoria,
but this really excels at this job - mimic-ing the amp break-up. I like to use the center setting - all diodes off.
Had one of these show up for repair with intermittent signal issues, initially saw a cheapo looking 22uf that I desoldered to replace, then while moving the board around to get photos, found the actual issue: poor soldering on one of the pot lugs allowed a lead to come loose and finally pop out entirely when presented with a small amount of direct physical interaction.
Transistors are 2N3906, blue caps are 47n, 22n, big red cap is 100n. Didn’t bother removing the knobs to get a look at the pot...
I searched for it but no dedicated post was made on this effect pedal. There is one on the 'Probe series' but all probe pedals are discussed there.
I got one in for some TLC and to add a LED. The owner makes a lot of nice noise music but in the wash of his playing he couldn't hear if the pedal was on or off. I added an LED to the pedal (and a DC jack / he just cut a hole in the side to get a wire in)
You can find pics and a schematic in my blog; check the link in my sig.

I borrowed a Nocturne Brain Seltzer from a friend a while ago, and took a look at the guts, but don´t tell him. :blackeye
No magical snake oil inside  Altough a pretty nice sounding pedal!
I tried to find out some values, maybe you wanna help me to make a vero layout?
today I got the chance to crack on up. Better build quality than the first DBA stuff but still... hmmmm kindly spoken in great need of improvement (as my english :D). The routing of this thing sucks (why double sided? it probably would fit on a smaller pcb one sided!!!) as it does for me soundwise too. Nearly no usable sounds on a sensible volume setting. Despite that it sounds pretty farty imho - and don't get me wrong! - I realy dig some of the Devi Ever stuff soundwise, but this gadget...
Hello,
I haven't seen anyone do this yet, so I thought I'd get one and trace it! Please let me know if there's anything that you see that looks obnoxiously wrong, or if there's anything that you think I may have missed.
i'm the founder of LEMON Amps , and here is the schematic of the Fly Classic. A 40w classic amp in a 125b

At long last, here are the final results of the Tracer's Fund peek inside the Cornish G2.
Credit goes to Dirk Hendrik for the degoop and circuit trace and testing, and madbean for making up a pretty project file and an original PCB layout. Several other Fund members poked, prodded, and tested various schematics and layouts, and of course all members contributed financially to make the purchase.
Kamadude1216 and I traced this over at the PedalPCB forum , but figured we'd share it here, too. So, bottom line upfront, here's the schematic:
With that said, let's start off with the gutshot (behind the spoiler).
As you can see, it's built on copperless perfboard with lots of offboard wiring. Everything is gooped with a soft black rubber that was easily removed.
Here's what's underneath the rubber once it's removed:
Unsurprisingly, it's quite similar to the Paul Trombetta...
Is anybody interested in tracing the Aguilar Octomizer?
I have one a long time ago, and tried to trace it myself, but don't have the time and knowledge to do it.
I degooped the little secret part of the PCB, but I'm afraid I scratched too much and deleted the marking on an IC. And there is a smd diode broken too, that I think it's a dual smd diode, kind of 1n4148.
I can messure any resistor or capacitor, or desolder too.
Here it's a shared folder with...
I sent a bunch of pics to AG a while back, but I know he has a lot more important things to worry about these days...
Unfortunately I dont have wiring photos (and I can't remember the name of the guy who sent these pics to me....) , but these should get us close. We'll just have to make an educated guess about the pot values and wiring.
I have a Vertex Dynamic Distortion PCB V 1.1 here. I have neither found any attempt of tracing it nor gunshots, so I thought I'd share what I found.
The construction is mostly SMD and I am not in the position to take apart all the capacitors for measurement (I left them Unknown when applicable), but this should give an overall idea of the topology (very close to the Ibanez SD9) and possibly a good starting point for someone willing to desolder components.
The P-1 is based on the very first Big Muff that Pete integrated into a rig for David Gilmour.
Schematic:

It turns out there is an exact match to a Big Muff variant from Kit Rae's site, the Ram's Head 76#2. This variant had not been previously associated with Gilmour. He used this Cornish rig through at least 1981, which means we now know the exact variant he would have been playing through during the Animals and The Wall tours.
Some preliminary gutshots to get things rolling. They're not the best, but it's what I can do at this precise moment. I only have the pedal for another day or two, so ask all the questions you can.
