Hello, I disarmed my G3, desoldered pots and switch with the idea to figured out the schematic, but some help never hurts, so im here sharing this! If somebody want to help i would appreciate that.
This is what i read from the smd parts:
D3: R17 egk23
Op amps: TL072
D1 & D2: LED
Q1 & Q2: A7
Q6: 2CW5N
I think Q1 & Q2 are the diodes BAV99. But i dont know what is Q6!
I dont rearm the pedal, so if someone ask for more detail photo i can do it.
Hopefully this is the right section ,I've been working on a vero for the nobels odr-s for a bit now and thought I'd post it for anyone who is interested, it's my first big vero so if anyone has any tips on making it smaller or any corrections , feel free. It's 1590bb sized at the moment and not verified as some of the values I don't have and will be waiting till my next big tayda order.I posted this on tagboard effects as well to see what they have to say.
Here is the link to the schematic I...
I installed an LED on my friend's ICBM, and decided to trace the circuit while I was at it. Was going to post it here, but only after I finished the layout did it dawn on me to compare the pedal to the original 77 op amp Big Muff schematic (courtesy of AG). Seems rather pointless at this juncture, and I'm far too demoralized to do so.
I'll list the differences for those who may be curious. Component numbering scheme consistent with AG's schematic.
IC 1 = MC1458
IC 2 = MC1741
C1 = 68nf (Input...
Here the turret layout and bom for the Lasgasp Art Laboratories 86 Oscillo-Fuzz!
I got these pictures from somebody who attended a DIY workshop held by Lastgasp himself few years ago.
The layout is only missing the expression pedal input, but I suppose a wiring like the one found in the 88 Super-Oscillo-Fuzz (where the expression pedal overrides the Fuzz pot) or similar should do.
So I was starting to build a mid-fi pitch pirate deluxe, and I looked on the Mid-fi Electronics website to check out what pedals they currently hold. There I saw that the maker, Doug Tuttle, has combined his two most popular pedals, Pitch Pirate and Clari(not), into one pedal. I love knobby pedals and want to turn my Pitch Pirate Deluxe into the Clari(pirate) if possible.
Both circuits are well-known DIY circuits, and both schematics and vero layouts (I'm doing pedals in vero) are...
So I have to start off by saying I build pedals. I am an Electrical engineer by Schooling but have moved to the dark side of sales LOL. I can understand a circuit. Sometimes I have to brush the cobwebs away with help but I have found that there are many like me. Some are NOOBS. Some learn over time some have a really good understanding and can do good designs and make fine pedals, but there are very few creative artists, who just transcend and come up with inspired unique designs; that just...
I did not do a full schematic, it is pretty close to the available Elk Sustainar schematic widely available:
BigMuffPage's Elk Sustainar Schematic
Here are some changes from the above schematic I observed:
- add input pulldown resistor (1M)
- add input RF filter cap (100p)
- change PNP transistors to NPN (2N3904)
- change power polarity for NPN Q's (flip polarized caps, protection diodes, etc.)
- change all pots to B50K
- change dist. tail...
Anyone has schematics or information of modified points?
I heard that Bi Chorus composed with one PCB and two 3PDT foot switches...how switch two preset rate/depth?
August 7th 2009: All information on the KoT has been summarized into this King of Tone project page .
Please if you want to build, have built or want to repair nor modify this pedal look into the links on project page before starting a new thread. If you find mistake, typo's, dead links or anything else that shouldn't be there, please use the Report button
i find it surprising no one has brought this one up yet?
ive always been keen to see whats under the hood..
Drafted schematics of Devi Ever - Ruby, 90 and Hounds Tooth circuits using this old snippet from the Devi forums and following along with the written descriptions. That last line adds some confusion about the accuracy of this info.

Redrawn schematics. These haven't been verified in comparison to a traced pedal.

The Death by Audio Fuzz War is pretty cool and highly variable tone fuzz. Gets a nice scooped big muff all the way through Maestro fuzz tone and shin ei screaming fuzz type sounds. The tone varies but the fuzz is all out all the time.
I have a few pics of the top and bottom of the board as well as some shots with the board held up to a light so you can see the traces through the board.
I was going to trace this but I don't have the time right now.
If you want to trace from these pics let me...
I'm curious about the Lyndhurst. Anyone?
Pic's aren't mine, found them here , nothing else on the internets.
Some controls appear unused on the mainboard. Dark / Flat mode and Release potentiometer.
Anybody looked under the hood to see what compressor VGA\VCA this thing is using? And where they put Rupert's littlr tranny in the circuit? And what kind of EQ they're using before and after the Tranny?
