MFOB
This unit is known by two names:
Modified Frequency Overdrive Box, and
Monkeys Fly Out Butt.
The MFOB is a two-stage overdrive unit
that produces a tube-like square wave
when cranked. Controls are Volume, Gain, and
Universal Gain. Used by THE BLACK CROWES
and Page Hamilton of HELMET.

No longer being built and primarily for the Japanese market. Tonegod mentioned this in the restrictions, which is strange because is not mentioned anywhere on the forum or even on thegearpage.

Ever seen a schematic for one of those?

They have about 20 different models and they are quite popular in Europe at least.. Perhaps the most known models are the Alberta (overdrive) CompNova (Compressor), Mudhoney (Fuzz), Tremster, (Tremelo/Vibrato) and Replica (delay).
I´ve only heared that the Alberta is a tweeked TS-808. Well how about that...another f***ing $200 TS-boutique clone :roll: .

The website is kind off strange -- advertises two pedals in the making and one discontinued :shock: . I believe that's not always a synonym of sold out. much of the klon siberia inspired webpage is great and there are ACTUAL gutshots if you brows.

I could not believe this when I read it. durhamelectronicsDOTcom seems so serious, but then again they don't seem to be able to wire a true bypass without pop, and even think it's not technically possible or something.

What a nice guy, repairing all those pedals for just the shipping, but all nicely paid for by the suckers who do fall for a $220 booster pedal. The below quote is from thegearpage, the place to read boutique madness, I find.
