Today's Sesame Street is sponsored by stupidly big enclosures
Project requested by my buddy Troy. It's not an vintage pedal, that's why not quite match my website profile, so let's say you guys have it exclusively ;)
Not vintage, but with vintage vibe - it kinda based on 200W Marshall (Major?) amps, nicknamed The Pig . How? Why? Click here to know more
My project is based on SonicIV's schematic, and my project i NOT verified
The trimmer on Q3 is changed to fixed resistor on my layout. Just...
Apologies for posting without a schematic but I was on the forum anyway so I thought I'd get the ball rolling. I took the plunge on one of these last week as it looked interesting, actually with no intention of tracing it out, but I was curious and tracing it out has kept me out of trouble for the week.
I'm writing the schematic up properly now but it's basically the DOD FX86 Death Metal Distortion with added Gain/Distortion control, the mids control omitted and some value tweaks. The cap...
Had anyone investigated the Cornish bypass buffer?
I'm wondering if there's something special about it. I wouldn't be too surprised if it's really the same buffer used in some of this BOSS/DOD/Ibanez pedals.
germanium Fuzz Face with some mods. I have heard some great Doom/Stoner sound coming from this pedal. I started to collect some pictures and trying to pull the values from them. Anyone interested in helping?

What I pulled together.
Im missing a few values and I'm not sure if the 100K is correct.
So, we know that the early factories used the super mojo spam can transistors, and later models use 2N404 , but does anyone 'know' what trannies were in the early perfboard versions from around '97 to 2002 or so?
I see many, many references to the transistors being AC128, but can anyone confirm that they are?
Somehow the Tone Bender has avoided my radar until recently. Since then, I've been doing alot of research on clones, trying to find something affordable that sounds like the original. I think my favorite TB clip is the British Pedal Company comparison between their OC75 and OC81D models. The 81D floored me with its almost sizzling low end and just how brutal it sounded. I definitely can't afford to throw $300+ at a pedal right now, so I'm looking for a cheaper clone model. I love fuzz when it...
Someone has already picked up one of these or has some information. I liked the fuzz mix of this pedal, but I do not find any information about this circuit online. Just a picture of him that does not say much. :hmmm:
Hi. I fixed a pedal made by John Landgraff and I traced the schematic. This pedal is based in MI audio crunch box with mods. This is my first collaboration. I would like to know how to attach the image here in the forum.
