At 99 EUR seems a steal -- saw it described as fuzz and then again as
The cranked 5E3 tweed tone in spades. LED status, True bypass, Master level, Gain saturation knob. All shades of gain controlled with guitar vol. knob. No power jack.
New at $190 here , but read this
I ordered my Woodrow with the request of a DC tap so I could put it on my pedal board with the rest of the arsenal. Sean mentioned he doesn't normally make them that way but would do it for me. I see that quite a few of...
Just took a quick shot before I had to go to class.
3 BC550s, a 78L05 and an NE5534. 20k dual gang tone pot. Would hazard a guess that it's basically the FGC minus Q1 and Q5/associated circuitry in WKH's schem. Will get more pics later.
Got this and the PPF in yesterday. Traced this one almost immediately since it's so simple. Will get the PPF done over the next day or two. AWF on the left, PPF on the right.
Got this one in on Wednesday and got around to tracing it last night. Think it's correct, but I'm not 100% on the boost control and the tone control. Also, the PIC part is pretty worthless for anyone who doesn't code, so replace the Q1 and 2 with a mechanical switch if you're gonna build it otherwise. Also of note is that the board is 4 layered, so all connections were sussed out with a multimeter's continuity function. I'll post the diagram I used to mark connections later.
Well, that's not exactly a boutique stompbox, but maybe someone is still interested in tracing that one. It IS cheap, but still..
Here's what I found in the net. I even wrote to Samson, but of course they told me they can't supply me with schematic of actually produced unit.
My mate's a great Robin Trower fan and he's trying to get the same pedal set up he has so looking for any info about the Robin Trower Wahfull Pedal ? Is it just a wah in a box as Mike Fuller says or is there more to it than that.
Not sure if anyone has seen this one... but the Wampler Dual Fusion seems to be sort of a modded Wampler Paisley + Wampler Euphoria in one pedal. I am on the hunt for a layout or if anyone beats me to it... please post or put in boutique dissected please~!
this should be enough to get a preliminary schematic going. With my vintage fender, this pedal did not sing as i had hoped. Overall, i thought it was a solid versatile pedal, but not superb everywhere.

skreddy --the Screw Driver and Lunar Module are derivations/enhancements of the FuzzFace circuit. That's how they're the same. From there, they go in two different directions. The Screw Driver has a mosfet input stage, which emphasizes the cleaner side of things and...
I'm wanting to incorporate a passive mid cut, between say 300hz and 1k. I do want the intensity of the cut to be variable, but if the frequency could be variable too, thats just a bonus.
I realize I could build an active parametric eq, which would do the job to perfection, and I have considered it, but I'm wondering if it'll really worth my while, since:
1.) The OCD has way more volume on tap available than I'll ever need, and so the passive loss isn't an issue to me
2.) The idea of...
As you might have already read, I set up a chip in event for degooping pedals:
Current ChipIn project: Honey Bee
As has been the case with other another famous degooping victim, some circuit still remain elusive not because nobody on the forum owns the pedal, but because nobody really likes to break open a +$400 dollar pedal.
But I could understand that you want to throw in a couple of bucks to help RE a mysteriously gooped pedal. No obligations. Once the circuit gets traced, the stompbox...
Here's the Throne Room Pedals - The Coming Messiah v2, which is now called The Atlantis (might have a slightly modified circuit). I really need this traced.
I hope those pictures are enough. The screw in one of the knobs broke and I cannot unscrew it again so I won't be able to get to the back of the circuit.
Most of TGP was convinced this one was a tube screamer clone for a while. :slap:
Not super original but a good sounding flat eq overdrive that falls just shy of distortion. The slight dip in the mids at the tonestack evens out the midhump from the highpass filtering at the opamps and the lowpass at the treble trimpot. All caps are NP polyfilm caps, ignore the electrolytic markings on the schematic.
Has anyone seen this (sorry, I can't seem to extract the pictures):
His argument is that the problem with ODs not sounding like real tubes is not enough voltage, so he's running an OD pedal using discrete transistors at 250v (from a 9v power supply, charge pumps I'd guess). Aside from the silly argument about voltage, I'd think that cost and durability would be negatively affected by running things at those kind of voltages? There're no reviews and no gut shots that I've seen anywhere, so...
This weekend I am planning on building a DAM FR-70 (Si Fuzzrong). It´s a Mosrite Fuzzrite Si
version : have done some research here and come across this photo : there´s a 100K (?) extra
resistor on VOL lug3 that goes to Output Ground(?)..Can´t see that on any other shematics or
board photos/veros.It´s in the upper right on this photo:
Perhaps someone can explain what that extra resistor does and if it´s 100K ?
Also seems to be a 220K between Q1 C and B (Mosrite has 470K ).
And a smoothering cap...
I compared the Signa Drive schematic to a TS808 one and they are exactly the same with some values changed.
I'm interested though what difference to the sound each of these changes will make - is anyone able to comment? (i.e changing that will give more bass, more treble etc):
- Resistor on input down to ground is 2M2 instead of 1M
- Capacitor on input is instead of 100nF instead of 47nF
- Resistor between Vr and the base of Q1 is 620k instead of 510k
