I recently purchased a Sunn beta lead kit (schematic pcb guitar mania here After soldering everything, I just have a huge hissing sound, sometimes with kind of distortion, but nothing else, the sound is pretty unstable and reacts really bad to any note I can play.

The circuit is built around a charge pump that is supposed to deliver -15/+15 from a LT1054, and this component is really overheating as soon as I plug the pedal.

Hello! Longtime lurker, first time poster.

I recently built this pedal. All seems well but when I turn it on, I get a rhythmic clicking and the LED pulses at the same right. No signal is passed (though it passes freely when in bypass) and adjusting the rate knob does not alter the rate of the click/led. This seems like a very specific issue so I'm hoping there's *a* cause that somebody can direct me to?

I'm not skilled in electronics but there's maybe something wrong in this circuit or in my building...
When I use 6 stages phaser it's ok and I like the sound but when I switch to 5 stages phaser then there's evidently a lack of bass, as if there was an high pass filter somewhere... In the forum, someone else says the same thing about this circuit.

Does anyone have the pdf file of the tracks layout for this PCB?
I would like to cut the track that goes from R24 to R26 in order to switch...

I built the Master Phaser from PCB Guitar Mania and the functionality seems to be all there. However, the switch (which I believe switches between 5 and 6 stages) also causes a pretty big bass cut - like a high pass filter - when switched to the DOWN position. I don't know what number of stages is UP switch and DOWN switch as this is not in the documentation. Surely this isn't normal?

I know it might be a more obscure build and maybe I am unsure of the nature of 5 and 6 stage phasing and...

happy to make my first post, sad because it starts with a problem.

I built an Orange Rockerverb Preamp based on the attached schematic from pcb mania. It's a relativly straight forward build using the Rockerverb preamp circuit and replacing the tubes with j201 jfets. I dialed the jfets to 4.5V and everything sounds fine.
However as soon as I play hard on the guitar the sound slowly starts distorting and finally cuts out completely.
