I just bought one of these...an "accidental" Ebay win (for $51 !). It's as close to NOS as you can get...I truly don't think anyone has ever stepped on it !

Anyway, these sound amazing, and since nobody has really posted pictures, they remain a bit of a mystery....so...I took a bunch of pics and posted them in in the following locations !

I took pictures of multiple angles of the board so values would be easier to read. I can fill in the missing values as we go, should any of you be interested in reversing this.

Enjoy !

Pictures are incomplete....
There is a second pcb below, where all the green wires go to.

I've got pics, just haven't had time to edit/post them....

Its a great sounding pedal.
Then you should look out for a SD-1 and put in 2 additional clipping-diodes like in a rat.

Funny is the dc-controlled gain. Am I right that the transistor Q4? beside the 3 diodes D?-D4 is a FET, probably a 2SK30A-x ?

Funny....
You should disconnect the 22k from pin 7 of the 4558 and feed there a LFO-signal

....or better make a jack for an external pedal and give that pedal the keyboarder of the band....

Or make an external pedal with an LFO and give that to the keyboarder

The guitarist will get nuts with time....

Hi guys! I'm trying to fix a PD-1 that doesn't work. Do you know what is the component marked R 25 DC +10 -150 on the power board? I never saw something like that.. :? :? When I've opened the pedal the transistor near it was blown.

I think the same pw board has been used on all the "rocker" series, but I cannot find any schematic...

Can you give me some help?

Many many thanks!

Digging up an old thread :D

I just got one of these and it's not functional. No power yet. Well I get a few volts. Does anyone have a schematic for this one? I'll take some pictures tomorrow of both boards as the ones in the first post don't seem to work anymore.

hey bumpdeebumpdeebump....

i have TWO of these things now, one has the power supply daughterboard cooked, the other is fully functional...

so if anyone needs voltages, etc etc...let me know.

that said, did anyone ever come up with a fuggin' schematic for this turkey?

the working one sounds great.. for what it is. the "warp" control is nothing but a momentary switch that turns the distortion level pot up full. you can't really "sweep" it.

ya gotta jump on it with your heel to turn it off, real pia.

but...it's a gift left from my brother jeff, so i wanna restore it if possible..
