Any chance you could get a slightly lighter version of the first photo? In the area where the opamp is, just above and to the right of the foot switch, I personally have a hard time telling which bits are joined. Not sure if that's just me though?

I only played it a little bit but it sounds more like a traditional fuzz than a Rat when you crank the distortion up. It actually is on the edge of being sputtery.

Her are some values. I roughly measured the pots in circuit and they all appear to be 100K except the 2nd one from the left which is 50K.

All green caps are .022
All ceramics are 100pF except cap to far left by opamp it is 30pF and the one at the top middle by the diode is .01uF (103)

There are 3 values of Electros:
The large one at the far right is 47uF
Smallest ones are all 10uF (6 of them across the middle of the circuit
Larger ones are 100uF (4 at the top and 2 at the bottom of the circuit

Transister is 5458

Opamps are MC1458's

Interesting pedal. 8) I see where the PC sez, "Re-Issue". I don't remember these at all for some reason. What years did they first exist in? Isn't it designed primarily for the bass? Thanks for the great detail in the pics. I'll bet some folks will want to build these even if they are priced affordably.[relatively speaking of course]

OT: I opted for the DeuceTone. It actually sounds quite a bit better than I remember my Rat ever sounding. They've implemented slide switches in each channel to approximate the Grandlaff's diode switcher. They're pop-rivetted to the case  and one of 'ems skewed
This is probably in keeping with their "bullet-proof" design model. A tiny toggle can be rendered useless with an occaissional python boot. Plus, they probably cost at least twice as much as a SPDT slide switch.
The channels can be run in series or as 2 separate voices of distortion. Which more than makes up for the regretably oversized footprint.

I won mine just a couple of days ago as well. $60 shipped. Mine didn't work but was new. Problem ended up being a nut missing under the board where it mounts to the pots so it was shorting against the case.

You don't see these very often let alone for under $100. Congrats on the deal Soulsonic.
