I had to reassemble it, then I will answer your question.roseblood11 wrote:How does it sound, compared to better known pedals lie tube screamer or OD-1?
Hi there, and Thanks a lot for layout and schematic, Manfred!!
Two things I would like to ask:
1st- The layout says IC-pin5 4k7 to virtual ground, schematic says 100k. What´s right?
2nd- Between IC-pin 2 and 1 layout says 100k, schematic 10k. Again, what´s right?
Thanks a lot again, great job!
Tobias

I have been selling the Overdrive for some time but as far as I can remember it was a good sounding mild Overdrive.I would be curious to know how it sounds ?
Maybe someone else has the original or has built a clone and can tell us more.
Hi everyone,
since Anders has already released the stripboard-layout for the Redson 12 Overdrive on his blog I thought to share my findings here as well.
I finally bought this pedal at reverb, traced it and compared it to another one which is owned by a very good guitarist. That guy really sent me on the journey because his playing with the pedal sounded so awesome. He made a lot of pictures, I did as well and since it´s quite unique-sounding, it was worth the effort!
So, the very first schematic posted here was very close!
In the correction below I forgot to change the drive-pot in the schematic to C10k. It lacks a bit of volume. You can alter that by decreasing the 12k between 1 and 6 of the IC. 7k5 should do it.
