IMO a really good sounding distortion with a pretty good range of settings.
Heavy metal housing, good mechanical and electrical workmanship.

How can IC3a and 3b be different devices ?
How can IC2a and 2b be different devices ?
There are two IC2 shown - one of them must be IC1 perhaps ?

Well, it got me wondering......
So I googled "comparator fuzz" and came up with the Craig Anderton "triggered fuzz", also known as a "sputter" fuzz.
Can't find the link now
Many other examples: try popular electronics july 1968.......(?)
Another "rat" fuzz (2 diodes to gnd) but i like the EQ maybe convert to gyros(?)
Would be interesting changing the tranny to a jfet(J201) but would need to rethink the dc bias of the opamp.
Thanks for the corrections.
