Hi, Pedal People,
I am new here - and here it looks great.
My three questions:
1. I have a DOD FX69B Grunge and a DigiTech Grunge. I also know that there exists also a DOD FX69. Is it correct that the FX69 came first? Was that "made in USA?"
2. Was the DOD FX69B made in China?
3. And is it true that the DOD FX69B is circuit-wise the same as the DigiTech Grunge?

Thanks for your help, and best regards from Germany!

Welcome to the forum!

A few sources say the FX69B replaced the FX69 in DOD's range in 1998. No idea when they switched to overseas production (possibly with this new range? I remember DOD advertising in my youth (early 90's) often mentioned made in USA).
I suspect the digitech version was released in the 2000's.

There are discussions of early revisions of the FX69 discussed here:

...and the DOD circuit itself is discussed here -

The best way to verify if the DOD and Digitech are the same circuit is literally in your hands: you have both pedals in your possession - Post up some good quality pictures of the digitech in a new thread in the appropriate forum and we can all have a go.
