This is how far i could come with it.
I like this distortion because of its eq and extreme low noise

thanks! looks like a ds-1 without the clever gain-controll and a low-frequency-gyrator... :hmmm:

I've never heard it, what kind of eq has it? I mean, middy like a ts9, scooped mid like a ds-1, flat etc.
thank you

By looking at the schematic the Ibanez Soundtank series comes into my mind, especially the PL5 and TM5.

There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.

the sound is typical marshall rocksound and with lower gain more like an old fender, the tone control is useable til 12 oclock and the bass controll from 12 til 1 oclock, a very good alround pedal, every thing i build i compare with this pedal as a reference

Someone gave me this when I bought a bad monkey for 20 bucks recently. It's not horrible but not that good. The highs are raspy.. Any tips would be appreciated as I may do some tinkering if I get some time. If anyone one cares I found the factory schematic.. It's attached.

Hello,

I am looking for a wiring diagram of DigiTech´s Hot Head. Does anybody have an idea, or maybe even the schematic?

Thanks,
TheReb

Our forum brother mojah63 found the factory schematic and attached it to this post:

Good luck !
