err... should I clean up this mess? You can edit messages, but not delete them? I disabled this because if people get angry they tend do delete messages, thereby rendering whole discussions incomprehensible.

Don't mean to detract from the great contribution. Have to check that forum, apparently.

the problem here is:
"You need at least 5 posts before you can place an external link"

Nice guts, after I didn´t trace the blackfinger, I think that I should make PT a present and trace this...
There is also more motivation: I don´t see any quad op-amp.
But for today there is waiting a Rodec HDA 450, a Matamp GT-100 (schematic is already traced), a Roland CR-78 and a Proco Deucetone for repair.... and gut-shots

So stay tuned....

I was really expecting one too!

this is actually what i meant with my first comment... the OP already got 4 posts, and so i was expecting the links to come up after his "post 5". :)

Nice! This could be a fun DIY project
AG, I can't wait to see that Matamp schemo, I'm sick of always seeing Orange schemes everywhere, but never any Matamp. Bring on the Matamp!

Ok, PT arrived today to pick up his present, but I didn´t finish it yet.

So what we have ?
12 V DC heating, relais switching, input buffer, output (over)-driver and in the middle we have this:
Hottubes patent

Personally I would not rely on this "patent", cause I have schematics from the late 50´s showing the same principle.

Now you can study the "patent", the rest will follow soon.

I'm guessing whoever was hosting this wasn't able to anymore for whatever reason.

Hopefully somebody who has it will come forward!

Hi guys!
I've traced this pedal, but unfortunately I had to give it back before I could finish tracing the switching (which is'nt true bypass; only 2 rows of the 3pdt are used) and the power supply (which is a simple back to back transformer 12AC wall transformer into a 9v->220v; i hadn't the time to trace the RC filter between the two tubes);

That's what i have:

I hope it can be useful! :thumbsup

sorry but you seem to have an identification problem! :?:

what you wished to remove was the first link from DH`s original second post in my reply that is removed now
(which I only had replaced with the current waybackmachine version to make it visible again because the old one was 404.)

those bees in DH`s second post too are gone now?

the censoring leaves traces!

shouldn`t this thread be in the modern stompbox effects section anyhow?

Sorry, I can't understand that sentence..

But... the fact is that none of the links lead to anything useful any more, so they were just cluttering up the thread and causing confusion..
so they're gone.

So do you Iggy. For instance that you only respond when it suits you. Stop complaining or stop posting. Either way.
