I cant seem to find a clear consensus on the Bass Contour mod.

I believe that a capacitor in parallel with c6 would add some perceived bass frequencies. This seems simple enough but how should I go about this.

POT and Cap, or on off on switch? What values for Pot and Cap? Thanks.

I have not ever heard of the "bass contour" mod. Adding a capacitor in parallel with c6 could certainly be it. That would bring down the corner frequency. Additionally, It could be to install a resistor or potentiometer where R15 is. That would put in a variable low-shelf to the stage that is pushing the clipping diodes. Ommiting r15 , as is apparently done in the Soul Food, would definitely cut some bass.
