Greetings

I'm looking to modify my Joyo Ultimate drive pedal.

I do understand that it's a clone of the Fulltone OCD.
I own a Fulltone OCD version 2 and I love the response of the pedal but it seems to lack low end. ( I am a bass player. I hope I didn't forget to mention that) As far modding the Fulltone, I'm not going to mod that pedal yet.

My mods will be on the Joyo first.

Any insight on this would be so appreciate.

Thanks in advance!

There's a 68nF cap, I guess C4 in a Joyo Ultimate Drive schematic I found. Replacing it with a 330nF could make a big difference in the low end when you increase the gain. You could replace, maybe C2 22nF, the input cap after the buffer (because the Joyo should have a mosfet buffer) with a 1uF.

I've been using the Ultimate drive on bass as-is, and it works quite well already, especially in the "low" setting.
In addition (as i'm adding a fuzz that eats all the low-end) i've built a simple blender pedal.
I only give negative feedback.
