BAJA LA2A Style Optical Limiter [documentation]
Hallo Frank, modifying the circuit, did It envolve changing componente values, or just using -9v as previous ground, 0v as prev Vref and +9v being the same, would you mind sharing the changes? Thank you!

Hi Serge75,
Yes, just run the op amps at +/- 9V and use ground for Vref. For the jfet buffer, you can use +/- 9V as well, but I used an op amp buffer instead. My split supply comes from a LT1054 charge pump. Note that the 4.7k resistor in the Limit part of the circuit is connected to -9V and lug 1 of the output pot is connected to ground.

Hello,
I am just chiming in to say thank you to Bajaman : I just built the Opto Limiter today (after building the Diamond Compressor a few days ago), and it's a very nice circuit.
A home-made vactrol works fine.
I used a 5534 op-amp for the first op-amp, as a 353 was producing some distortion.
