Now that's my kind of PCB layout!

Shame I just sold my only MN3005 and don't have an 18V power supply... hoi boy...

Oh and bean, figured out how to do a V3205 version really easily if you collab with Magnus, his Micro Man is already converted to the correct power supply and I can fill in the blanks, dunno if you'd be interested in two different runs of the same effect though.

Actually, I have a good portion of a v3205 already finished. It will be more like the MicroMan in terms of positive voltage, etc. The layout is about 80% finished on that (it's a completely different layout).

Oh right sweet! I'll wait for that board to come about then...

It is still on board pots and no stand up resistors for a 1590BB isn't it...

Yeah, PCB mounted pots. It'll be fitted for 3mm resistors, though. It's 1590BB vertical instead of horizontal like the one above.

Sweet! 3mm resistors is a bit of a pain but I can always make a special order and the vertical BB more than makes up for it (as the rest of my BBs are it should save some room) really looking forward to this one now.

And I thought I was gunna have to find MN3005s... Phew.

Have any of you guys built the Aquaboy with the double delay mod? Just purchased the circuit from Madbean and haven't built it as yet. Looking forward to this project as well, as soon as Madbean get's the board's organised. Any impressions about the Aquaboy and wondering how the (Delay) would compare to the Memory Man?

I built the aquaboy a few months ago with v3205's. I've never had a DMM myself and havent compared the two, but the aquaboy is a very smooth and great sounding delay. And the double delay mod is absolutely necessary. You should use the modulation add-on as well if youre up for trying to find a good LDR/LED combo.

Also, soon I'm planning on building another doubledelay circuit to add to the first. I'll see if it works and then report back to the original Aquaboy Mod thread.

Happy building!
Ben

I should have a v3205 prototype completed in about two weeks (ordering the PCB in a few days). If it works out I'll have some PCBs available by September (realistically). I don't plan on replacing the Aquaboy....never can have too many delay choices, IMO.

Its a double sided board.are you set up to etch double sided boards? I've been tempted to get set up for double sided boards but haven't done so yet.
