Bu next couple of days transfer file will be done, I'm waiting for confirmation board dimension from another Univibe owner...
What else... Yeah, the transformer... To get the reproduction I can recommend Chris Merren (aka Cerrem on various forums) from Merren Audio. I'm sure amp builders know him from great posts (very knowable person, and well respected), and his replica transformers. http://merrenaudio.com/
I was chatting with him, and he can custom build dead-on replica, as he owns one. No info about pricing yet

You rock bro!
Transfer file is done. I did it from the start again. It's 95% acurate to the real one. The pict i was working of was slightly angled, but i learned little about the graphic soft i was using and i get it stright. I'm on my Android powered device today, so the file will be up tomorrow.
How to match the LDR's? Anyone?

I'm very interested in this (and very grateful to Sinner) project. I've had several original vibes as well as most of the newer production ones and none of the newer ones came close to my best vintage unit. I'm not a big believer in mojo but there's something going on in the originals that got lost along the way.

As said above, boutique gurus mess to much with silly mods

Stu is also making cool Vibe clone based on his early unit, and he wrote that his example is different to later ones.
So some component value changes could be pretty common, I think.

I see a lot of similarities in component placement, so it shouldnt be hard to know what the differences are. On the other hand... I like Stu, and I don't feel like expose his work. He helped me a lot, and shared cool info with me even don't know me

Curious about something...I'm looking at the guts of a current clone and all the 1uf's are substituted with 1.5uf's, would this affect the tone/sound?
