Interesting....
How were you able to overcome the fact that you really cannot acheive the right sounds for the different sims without using a JFET input op amp for U4? If memory serves me right, the original used rail-to-rail op amps (TLC2262??) for 3 of them and then a TL072 for the last one.

What do you mean? TL074 is a JFET input op amp. TL226x are LinCMOS op amps, but in this circuit the input impedance of either TL07x or TLC226x is more than enough.Govmnt_Lacky wrote:Interesting....

The rail-to-rail capability is another story, still there are some that prefer TL07x.
Yes correct, i use rotary switch 3 pole 6 throwcopachino wrote:pretty good sounds, which are the selectors?? 3P6t??
Please review in shematic.. I do not have time to make a bomb list, but it was the same as that in www.tonepad.comcopachino wrote:the capacitor values are missing, also the transistor values

What I mean is that, in the ORIGINAL GT2.... the op amps that were used were (1) TL072 and (3) TLC2262 op amps. I know that you can sub the 2262s for TL072s but, I have read several times that you lose a lot of the quality in the amp sims by doing so.ggedamed wrote: What do you mean? Furthermore...
I know that when I built this unit, I had to use the 2262s to get the right sound from the sims when they were selected. Hence.... my question!

PM... Check it.copachino wrote:where are the layouts???
I have seen this built by many different people and all were extremely happy with it! Not one non-working... Has been modded with 3 band EQ and noise gate. You will have to figure out the wiring from the pics or do a little tracing yourself.. I don't have the wiring daigs, sorry
I'd be interested in the layouts as well! Thanks!
