Selling out germanium goodness..... (The last lot sold in under 4 hours !!!)
(31) AC176K NPN GERMANIUMS
(14) AC188 PNP GERMANIUMS
(3) AC128 PNP GERMANIUMS
(5) OC72 PNP GERMANIUMS
(55) AC187 NPN GERMANIUMS
(7) OC75 PNP GERMANIUMS
(2) OC76 PNP GERMANIUMS
(5) AC125 PNP GERMANIUMS
(1) OC70 PNP GERMANIUM
(14) ASY29 NPN GERMANIUMS
(39) NKT213 PNP GERMANIUMS
(2) 2SB22 PNP GERMANIUMS
(6) RCA 2N1526 PNP GERMANIUMS
(15) RCA 40319 PNP GERMANIUMS
(5) 2N652A PNP GERMANIUMS
THAT'S OVER 200 QUALITY NOS NPN AND PNP GERMANIUM TRANSISTORS !
Seriously... find a collection like this anywhere else.... There are a TON of great, hard to find germaniums here ! Have you Buzzaround builders seen any NKT213's available lately ? No. AC176K's are great sounding, hard to find NPN germs with a built in heat sink ! AC187's.... yummy NPN goodness. These are all the REAL NOS transistors, not the "rebranded" NKT and ACxxx ones you see on Ebay (with the little "lip" around the bottom edge).
$300 for the entire lot, shipped in the USA !
I'll ship out of country, but only by USPS EXPRESS, which will cost you extra.
PS - I threw in a few "assorted germaniums" as well ! Sorry, I will not be selling these "individually" or "breaking up the lot".

Well, excuse this bump, but I'm sorting my transistors at the moment, and I found a bunch of RCA40319. The Peak Analyser says these are Silicon ones. But Morecowbell sold them as Ge ones...
What's right from wrong? I can't find any datasheet...
Anyone?

Silicon allright - that's why fsb assumes no responsability for sales. Google before you buy, but the rest of the AC/OC series are Germanium.
Peak is always right - you lucky bastard, I only got the older version!

I typed " RCA40319" instead of the single 40319 reference... The first typing led me there, the second has linked you to the datasheet... Thanks!
Too bad about the non-germanium stuff... But mine look new (long and never soldered golden leads), and hFe seems fairly high, so I'll try these...

I wish that was the case, but it seems the Peak has an arbitrary "cut-off" of 0.4V (for the B-E voltage drop), greater than or equal to 0.4V it calls it silicon, less then 0.4V it says germanium.modman wrote:http://www.datasheetarchive.com/40319-datasheet.html

I got a bunch of 2N167A's not too long ago (most certainly germanium) and my peak meter reads a good amount of them as silicon. Ran into the same problem with a lot of 2N1307 as well.
Am I wrong, and newer versions of the tester have adjusted this? I see you mention that you have an older version.
