I've got a stack of in-store coupons to burn at RadioShack and am wondering where they'll go farthest. About the only thing I can determine is well priced compared to other sources is the honking giant Communications Style knobs (which I think are Davies Molding 1155's or close). Anything else reasonably priced and worth stocking up on?

I like their 4-conductor solid core wire. Also, their solder is competitively priced, some of their tools, too.

Is the 4-conductor their "intercom wire"?

Yes. I peel off one conductor & use the remaining 3 to wire pots.

Their desolder iron is a good buy too. The tip doesn't last so long but replacements are cheap.
