After some success with the 2SK117, I wanted to push my luck.
Obsolete JFETs are still on the menu, this time some (allegedly) Fairchild BF245A (datasheet).

From a batch of 25 pieces, tested with Peak DCA75.
Average Vgs(off) = -1.78V
Average Idss = 4.01mA
Standard deviation Vgs(off) = 0.25V
Standard deviation Idss = 0.76mA
Pinout is a match, with swappable source/drain.
Vgs(off) and Idss are both within datasheet spec.
Visually they are convincing, no obvious evidence of sanding. Leads are solder free and full length.
Seem legit to me.
