I think that if people want 3005s, they can more easily source them themselves. I managed to pick up a couple of Panasonic 3005s (the ones with the triskelion logo) from Japanese parts sellers for $23 recently. More expensive, but tested and genuine.
Brand new group order of BBD's

The smart thing is to utilize the current production IC's -> Coolaudio. I was hoping to score more MN3005's, but by the looks of it it is not worth the trouble. I got my self 20 mn3005's from UTsource and I'll keep 'm for comparion and repairs.
I am willing to help Ron with making the Coolaudio order going.
I would appreciate if it is possible to order some different parts from Coolaudio as well, not just the parts offered via the form in this thread. (this ofcourse ups the amount of pre-order-cash I'll chip in!).
If we are going the CoolAudio way: would it be good to close this thread and start with a new clean one, to prevent confusion?

Of course i can prepay my order. If it can help you I could double the quantity of v3205's I ordered.theehman wrote: Regarding the CoolAudio order: if enough people could prepay for their chips and add a bit extra for customs/service charge (CoolAudio's doing) to cover the initial cost, we could go ahead with the V3205. If you want to pay extra on it and have the balance refunded when other people pay for their orders that would be great, too. Basically I just need to get enough money up front to cover the chips/customs/shipping/etc.

I'm shipping this order back and he's going to get me a sample of 10 pieces from yet another supplier. We'll see what happens. Regardless, the CoolAudio order will likely happen as well.Ed22 wrote:Ok... really bad news.

This is a copy of something I posted elsewhere.
"Uhmmm.
I don't know much, but I know how to read a pin out on a datasheet; from what I can tell, the Aquaboy is designed around a MN3101 chip, and the V3102 is a copy of a MN3102, whose pins 1 and 3 (VDD and VSS) are reversed from the MN3101 (1/3 = Gnd/VDD)."
Sorry if this is answered already in the thread; but I don't get how the V3102 will properly replace the MN3101 in the Aquaboy circuit without retooling the circuit board.

Message to Pandadan about Garrett Audio Website. My friend in Japan tried to register on my behalf, using both an english and Japanese keyboard(furiaana), and it doesn't accept it. How did you manage to access this supplier? Also, when did you last buy from this supplier? Did you have trouble registering? The website looks old (2003), possibly out of date. Thanks for any information, Paul

I've got a sample of 10 coming soon for testing. If they're legit I'll be able to get more. If not, yours may be the last bet.sevinisthenumber wrote:I just came across a legit stock of x25 (mn3005's)
