heres how to wire the dpdt
heres a schematic that uses the dpdt
heres a schematic that uses the dpdt
I cant seem to find the original diylc files for it, but heres the layout with some edits regarding the switch and pot connections

The 2P2T switch it's:
Rotary Switch, 2x6, Pins
Lorlin rotary switch
2 pole 6 positions, (the total number of positions is selectable up to 6. Fix the number of positions using the ring)
or
Rotary Switch, 3x4, Pins
Lorlin rotary switch
3 pole 4 positions, number of positions selectable, (the total number of positions is selectable up to 4. Fix the number of positions using the black ring)
???
Thanks a lot, I've buyed a 2x6 but something it's wrong.

I have clearly how to wire up the switches. The wipen it's the second lug, but the first and the third of the pots are indifferent? How must I wire up the dual pot? Must I link the lugs of the dual pot?

Link the wipers and connect them to the green wire marked "wipers" next to the frequency label: The other two green wires next to the frequency label must go separately to the two "lug3s" on the dual pot (furthest right when you hold the pot with the shaft pointing towards you and the lugs pointing down). The lug1s are unused.

I made the pedal and I can't find where is my problem.
I've got a very big hiss with my signal, and the pots and switch control the amount of hiss
Some clues?

Try a new 4007, take antistatic precautions when handling it.Visualdistortion wrote:I made the pedal and I can't find where is my problem.

Hi there,
first of thanks to Strangeamps for the quick vero layout!!
Im building this thing for a friend of mine, final assembly & test was today before i color the enclosures.
The build works fine, it seems that freq pot has kinda sweet spot at the heights, maybe this behave is normal because heights are more aggresive than low end to human ear. Near end of the range there is much going on ("sweetspot"), from ccw to that point it does not much. maybe a linear would be better, dodnt have dualpots here on spare so i cant try.
But i need to mention that im only tested it on a small speaker amp on low volume and with the loopstation as signal source (had to use audioprobe because i was getting no signal out of it ) also the loop didnt have the whole freqency spectrum of a guitar, i will inspect this tomorrow with a proper amp and a real guitar. will report back for that.
Also i went quickly over the service manual and i have here an updated version for the offboard wiring, which is correct to the schematic.
however height pot needs to be reversed if you mount it on top like on the regular effect. Why ? If you take a look at the original device you
can see pots are on the side, at each one if you think about how they are phisicaly mounted in respect to each other, you find they reversed. So you need to compensate this
zosotone, this might be the porblem then...
greets,
jazzmaster

Also to be noted, there's a schematic floating around and archived on Aron Nelson's site that has one component in the wrong spot, rendering the build to be non functional in overdrive mode. Go with the red and green schematic in this thread.
