So somehow i used a 5 ohm resistor instead of a 1 meg in one area. :slap: :applause:

I'm rewiring both my FSH's with color coded ribbon wire. ...hopefully to keep the rats nest look down.

So, I think my pedals should be good now. Found some 2N5457's locally too. :horsey:

I put some "mojo" parts in my juggernaut clone just now and I think I'm ready to finish my fsh's.

I'd atempt at putting "mojo" parts in my fsh..but I just know my house would explode... :slap:

hey Grrunge...

How did you hook up your grounds?

Also..I am getting it to almost work. I get I think the down sweep? The thinner sounding sweep. The other direction has just a low bass output..no sweep.

And the sample/hold..I need to readjust the trimmers...It WAS working before.. :slap:

The only parts swap I have really done was the .15uf caps. I don;t have those, but I have.1 and .22 .

And I'm going between mpf102 and 2N5457's.

input- and output grounds directly to chassis, and supply ground to input sleeve lug.

Try turning the range knob, as i wrote a few posts back:

Yeah, I move that range pot all over. I swapped it out and will try again. =)

I am using an active bass, But I have yet to measure the pp voltage output....but, I dont think it should matter???

Anyhoo, I'll get them to go. :)

Oh and speaking of grounds...

I got these copper ..forgot that they are called..

But they're like a real skinny pcb. I can use those as a star ground. :D

Star ground? How many ground wires do you have? :)

9 volt ground

input and output ground

board ground

led ground

I don't want to create a ground loop. :)

I wonder if my 13700 is bad..since I'm just not getting sweep in one of the positions. All other wiring is good and tidy. All parts are correct except the .15's which I used .22 and .1..I don;t have .15's small enough.

If it sweeps one way but not the other, check the up/down switch wiring and the surrounding components.
It doesn't sound like a bad OTA to me...

has anybody else had problems with the gain of the circuit? mine is very weak. are there any ideas to improve the gain or do i have to add a booster in front. Also what would i have to tweak to make the LFO go faster? I really can't find any use for the very slow sample&hold..

for gain I think you could try increasing or decreasing the input and output cap values.

For more S&H Speed....hmm..thats a puzzler.
