I’m looking forward to having a go with this one, if anyone has a unit to hand could they post the board dimensions so I can attempt to make a board layout?

The forum has slowed down, but there's increased interest lately. I've been pretty active and I have lots of pedals to trace. :)

Ok so looking at the schematic that fuzzhead drawn up against mine is nearly correct..
For starters the input and output is the wrong way round .so swap those over, R7 should be 22k and the preset is 100k brown black yellow.. now the k3819 transistor or 2n3819 field effect anyone will do, the drain (d) goes to c6 , the gate (g) goes to c7 and R13, the source goes to R16..... that’s it. Make sure if you build this try and keep the input and output far away from each other as this has quite a lot of gain . Although not used in the original pedal ,I used screened input and output coax cable to stop interferance.. let me no how you get on ,,will try upload my schematic when I get time ,but I am real busy at work. .......

This is great, thank you!
So, does the schematic bellow makes any sense to you or does it even match your schematic?

Good job on the schematic , Easyer to read now , yes this is now correct, one point I will mention is the preset ,I used 100k based on the colour code on top. Brown ,black ,yellow, But you could also read that as Yellow, black ,brown, which would make that 400 ohms ,however I believe that would be to low . I’ve never tried to change it as mine sounds great and sustains forever.... hope your build goes well......

Whipped up a vero layout and it works!
Fairly gnarly and loud fuzz with quite long sustain.
There is some fizz and crackle present but will experiment with the transistor selection.

Glad you managed to get it working , some of the unwanted noise should clear up when enclosed in a metal enclosure, Try the same transistors ,but choose them with a higher or lower gain , you should be able now to add the extra components for the 2 switch ,it should be a breeze now ,

Could you share your vero layout?
