Theres no way that I can spend $900 or more on these pedals. I would love to, but theres this thing called reality and it truly sucks sometimes.... :slap:

So, if anybody has these schematics and or gut shots available, could they be possibly posted?

I got a great deal on a non-working Mutron Octave Divider. Thought someone might be interested in seeing gutshots. Chek out those pots. I've never seen ones with a 4th lug before.

I have seen 4 lugs pots on tube amps all the time. SOmetimes I see the 4th lug as say a specified value..lets say 200K on a 500K pot. Or its a "ground" lug sometimes. I wonder though if these might be for pcb mounting so theres less chance of stress cracking.

Fwiw,the hand drawn pcb layouts should work fine,although the boards are kinda big (I posted these many moons ago on Aron Nelsons site)...The Octave itself tracks pretty well for analogue,but the stability switch didn't seem to 'stabilise' the octave all that much...I've just got back into doing DIY after stopping about 2 years ago,and I'll probably re-do this in DIYlayout creator at some point, but might check ther Pearl octaver out first.....

The staibilize actually makes a big difference on the lower 5-6 frets, on guitar and bass, without it the octave is pretty warbly.

Boris, I like the layouts you have done, do you have a straight pcb, or should I phtotoshop out the parts in the layout attempt?

I build stuff for guitar and bass. I have the Mu-tron on my bass board rather than my guitar board. Bass + octave down + green ringer sounds amazing!
