BOOM!

UPDATE: I corrected placement of R5 as per AG's schematic, and replaced schematic with new.

Looks like someone beat me to it, a long time ago...
Kadent_Treblefuzz_v1_AG.gif
But didn't start a thread!

I see a mistake I made with my trace, having the 4k7 going to ground instead of back to Q1's base... was kinda wondering if that would've worked correctly. Too hard to tell in the photo
But there are some other things different with mine, like the 470ohm resistor parallel with the fuzz pot. This is obvious in the photo I posted.

Kadent transistors are.......................T-05, PNP, Lead pinout appears to be 212. The base is connected to the transistor case. Usually the case is connected to the collector. Only common transistors that use this base terminal are 2N525,526,527. 2N1303,1305,1307,1309.
I know there are others but both these series are rather common and chances are they used these as being low priced. All my 2N1300's are silver.

Really only company i see is GE made black cased with the bottom like those, 2 dimples and the base connected to case. I have a bunch of GE (general electric) in black in 2N526 and only 1 2N525 in black so my best guess is 2N526. Probably surplus at the time and were cheap. Other than that i have factory stock numbered black GE's that are of similar date codes and exact in appearance.

2n2613/14 were all TO-1 case.
