A good friend sent this to me as an "early Christmas present" ! (Thanks D !!!)
Photo's are "pre-cleanup" ...time to bust out the chrome polish !
Basically a "Superfuzz & wah combo".
AG - any idea what all the unused space on the PCB was for ?

Jep, we know that one. Better known in the Ibanez spagetti logo version. Made by Mica if not mistaken. Nice score!
let's check Bart's place:

I don´t know exactly.....
I have an Ibanez Standard Fuzz with empty space too and tried to figure out, what the empty space should do...
I came to the conclusion that the empty space on the standard fuzz probably was for an input stage as it can be found in the Univox Super-Fuzz and later was adapted for the more known FET-input-stage.
I never saw a fully assembled board.

There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.

My friend who gave it to me won it on ebay for $75...the seller thought the wah pot was bad, but it just needed cleaning...Dirk_Hendrik wrote:Jep, we know that one. Better known in the Ibanez spagetti logo version. Made by Mica if not mistaken. Nice score!

My experience so far is that any Japanese scratchy wah from the seventies can be revived with cleaning only... in the contrary of any crybaby like wah..

Yep - one of those times that I'm really happy that most people have no idea about electronics !
