I don't, but someone else over at the sloclone site was surmising that it is likely to run plexi-like lower voltages, like in the 250vdc region.Nikifena wrote:PS: Anyone have some info about power supply for the fish ?

Hey, what are your opinions on the stratto and the brown channel sharing a tone stack? Do you think it would be better off if the channels had independent tone stacks and hence the channel switching be moved to post tone controls? Or do you think it's just fine as it is?

Was looking online for that schematic and couldn't find it anywhere! I love FSB! lol
Has anyone built it? is it accurate? I saw a gutshot i can post later if anyone is interested.

Yes, that is the one that was presented on that forum. Also on this forum it was established that it has some errors, especially on the brown channel. I believe it because I once built the brown channel into my modded Fender Concert (Rivera era) and was very disappointed - sounded very muddy. It was not the amp because I tried quite a few different preamp circuits in that amp (among those the XTC) and all sounded miles better.chris_d wrote:I am pretty sure i got this at the Sloclone (http://sloclone.yesterdaysrevolt.com) site, but i don't really remember for sure:
yes, the schematics has same mistakes, especially coupling capacitors. I built brown/strato channels and they both sounded really muddy. I do not remember exact values for the coupling caps I used, but it was in nF and not in tens of nF as is stated on the schematics and it started to sound much tighter.

Any updates ? anyone build it or ?
All i can see is the schematic that is said to have mistakes , nothing to compare it to .
curious what makes it good that people rave or was it just favor of the week [ years ago ]

With the going rates for these at the moment, this would be an interesting trace. Here's what I found so far:

Sweet pics. I beg you not to use LDR's though. That many LDR's would make buying vintage unit cost effective (maybe).

A few more. Does anyone else have something to add?
So far I haven't been able to find any pictures of the board underside. For a thing this rare, I guess I won't be lucky enough
