Nah, i still only get the "recently used" items.

Let me ask you this, id the new OSX version all inclusive or does it need a separate folder full of shapes etc like the regular version had? I've deleted all older version of DIYLC and im just using the OSX version.

it's all inclusive. Damn, I'll have to debug again and figure out a problem :( How bout the multi-platform version, does that work on OSX?
Until then 3.16 is the last version that works on OSX.

Yeah the multiplatform version works great. Using the .jar file, too. It doesnt transfer my component templates, though. Is there a way to do that?

you mean transfer between the old and new version? If so, just copy config.xml from the old installation dir to the new one.

Is it possible to add the feature to place the text field in reverse (inverted)?

ah ok, that would require more changes because regular text doesn't get exported to toner transfer output. This would probably go as a new component. Can you file a request on diylc.org? That way I won't forget and you'll be notified on email when it's resolved.

that's generally preferred way of handling requests, everybody, please file them, it's easier for everyone :)
tnx

Dr Tony, could you please check out 3.19? I hope I have fixed the dedicated mac build now.
Also, sinner, you got your mirrored text for PCB :)

Any way to get this running on Android? Just got a Galaxy Note 2 with a screen big enough that this would be awesome.

I'm afraid not. Java for android is not the same, so I'd have to rewrite most of the code to retrofit it to Android.
I planned to do it, even started prep work, but don't have enough time to finish.

I really appreciate the reply. I just started using DIYLC a few weeks ago after a couple years of farting around with Eagle. I really dig it! Much easier to whip together a layout when using on board pots since it is using pad per hole measurements.

My desktop is connected to a monitor and is also used by my Roku. When the wife or kid is watching a show I can't use my desktop. In the meantime, I think I'll use Air Display and a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. It's when I'm away from home that having a mobile version would be cool, but now that Windows 8 is out this might be a reality sooner than later.

Really cool software. I plan on donating once my eBay funds clear Paypal's hold period. :horsey:
