I used to be able to view and build from the amazing vero's of Torchy at:
https://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa131/veroboard/

This does not work anymore because photobucket asks me for a login into a private album. Am I doing something wrong?
I hope the vero's are still publicly available. They are a great DIY builder resource and I really appreciate them.

Thanks,
Floris

It's unfortunate but I can understand where he is coming from.

Does anyone have Torchy's Tremulous Lune layout by any chance?

Torchy has sent me a flaming pm expressing his thorough disgust with the current tone, atmosphere and lack of moderation on the forum.

To pull his photobucket account is just plain silly. I think indyguitarist's site mirrors some of Torchy's stuff...

It's true, I have been a bit busier outside the forum lately (professional obligations). Analogguru and Briggs, like probably anybody, have other stuff going on outside this forum. All moderators and members contribute on voluntary basis and that the only thing driving the forum.

Anybody who feel the forum isn't what it could be, is kindly invited to share his thoughts, but whining about lack of moderation is just is uncalled for - instead proposing to help out moderating parts of the forum is a much more mature attitude.

I'm sure I've thanked Torchy for his contribution on a number of occasions and offered him an FTP to host his own site of layouts on the fsb server. He would just have to spend $8 on a url name and torchylayouts.com would instanteaneously become almost the number 1 verolayout ressource and generate enough traffic so that the owner would feel it's worth his while...without the toil of daily moderation inherent in a forum.

Torchy also tried to scare me with "I heard from a solicitor there are reasonable ground to have the forum closed down for deflamation" with regard to the Timmy Danelectro stuff -- for quite some time I thought T had a brain of his own, sadly enough he bases his opinion on hearsay from lawyers... :slap:

Maybe I should have told T, my best friend is ... well, nevermind...

Torchimenator will back, I'm sure, but don't know when.

Ah, so now its completely removed. That's too bad. :( Well, it's his stuff so of course he can do with it whatever he wants.
I just found it to be a nice collection (I enjoy collections...) and while available it was a nice resource for DIY FX builders. I especially like his vero & schematic combo's as I'm actually not a "vero builder" but I liked the schematics a lot. :)

It is a shame this has happened. I haven't done any Vero stuff, but was interested in trying it at some point. Please before you put up a petty bickering post, if you are prone to do this, remember we are all just sharing info and having
FUN!!!!!!

This layouts at indyguitarist have got pulled as well. This leaves no amazing vero layouts remaining. One single person did so much with those strips of copper...

I wish I had of thanked him more for his contributions. The bad side of this place got the better in the end though...Ill be honest, this place has some bad vibes to it, its so hostile and not welcoming.

I'll be honest - you are talking shit again.
Torchy has pulled his layouts on more than one occassion and never because of anything at this forum - where have you been hiding.
Where is this evidence of hostility and non welcoming???
Wake up and smell the roses - there is FAR MORE interesting discussions and content on this forum than any other on the internet.
Who upset you???
bad vibes???
wtf are you talking about
Torchy - who I have now nicknamed Touchy, provided some very useful vero layouts and schematics - you should have downloaded them all while you had the chance. Touchy has decided to take his ball home because he can't take all the noobies that have joined up at FSB - but these are the very folks that have most benefited from his vero layouts - so you go figure him out
stop bleating and start sharing - learn how to draw your own vero layouts - kurt is DEAD - FACT :!:

The only bad vibe I've experienced recently was from Torchy when he got upset at someone's suggestion that the Danelectro Drive is based on an OCD.

I'm very, very sorry Torchy decided to hide his layouts, I've always found them useful. Anyway I'd just wanted to thank him for his contribution as I thank everybody who shares his stuff, ideas or what else here, I hope some day he will change his mind.
FSB is a great place, I learned a lot since I discovered it, it's really sad to see that sometimes some people doesn't appreciate enough the luck of having such a great group of minds, without barriers, offering for free their knowledge to our wonderful obsession.
ciao

What you like the constant bickering and arguing. Seems like someone is always getting offended... I never said I didn't like it here, quite the contrary.

Ya my brother Kurt is dead, thanks for the reminder. Very mature making fun of a username...

I have to disagree....I have found this forum quite an ideal place to hang out. I've seen some "intense" discussions, as well as some opinionated remarks, but they are just that - discussions and opinions.

I've learned a lot from all of the great contributors here, and hopefully at some point I'll be able to contribute something back myself (making an attempt with Aqua Puss pcbs, thanks to baja). It's disappointing that someone felt offended enough to remove their contributions (I know I've used a couple of Torchy's layouts).

I, for one, am very thankful for everyone's efforts here and willingness to freely share information.

yeah.. whats up with just taking them off b/c people are using them... isn't that the point? i have yet to hear a real reason for this.

"bad vibes" yeah I felt that too. Initially... I felt like people here were jerks, but you have to read a lot of the whats been said from each contributor to learn how they respond and what thier points of view are. overall...most people here are picking up scraps of information and focusing on pedals that suit thier interests ( personal, monetary or otherwise) with the few knowledgable people pushing things along with thier expertise. some come along with burning misives and enthusiasm, posts some layouts and fade away.

personally I have found the most engaging threads to be the one's with the most polarized opinions. some people can't hang in that kind of arena and just assume that everyone who's regularly active here are just dicks who get off on ripping apart pedals and talking crap about people. I see it as a cheap way to feed my obsession, learn things more quickly than I would on my own and engage in the wonderful dialogue.
here are a couple torchy vero's.
