Simple, fun Boost-Drive-Fuzz circuit

I like simple things.

This is a simple thing.... but versatile. Just a jfet boost into a Bazz/boost section. No brainer really.

It uses a 4 position rotary switch to give a wide variety of tones, from "boost" to "fuzz".

Low parts count, values aren't too critical, certainly there's some room for mods.

The schematic is self explanatory, so I didn't do a layout.

If you'd like to assist the "Boo-Teek" pedal companies out there, you can post a layout so that they'll be able to build and market it as well.*

Enjoy !

PS: The switch will pop a bit when turning. You could add a 1M to ground on either side of the switch if this bothers you.

PSS: BIG nod to Hemmo for the Bazz section.

If you build it, let me know how it works with your rig.

Like I say, it's a ridiculously simple circuit that pretty much anyone could come up with, but sometimes those can be really good.

i think alot of folks will agree with me on this one:

the simple solution is usually the best.

personally, i prefer quick, simple and [frighteningly] effective solutions to nearly every aspect of life, electronics is definitely included in this statement.
