..and , is possible to change the ic for une better rated like tlc2262 or another opamp whit better noyse (less) ratio? or tlc2262 is incompatible (fetinput?)thanks

Actually, I used this SMD chip(TLC2262) and the rest are thru-hole components.collingtech wrote:..and , is possible to change the ic for une better rated like tlc2262 or another opamp whit better noyse (less) ratio? or tlc2262 is incompatible (fetinput?)thanks

Bajaman,
I looked over your combo board and compared it to your schematic and found two discrepancies on the board.
1. On pin 9 of the LF444 you have the 1k resistor and the 56nf capacitor locations swapped
2. On pin 14 going thru the 1uf cap you have the resistor going to exg out as 1k.
So do the response charts reflect this? Also on the polarized capacitors are you using tantalum's?
Are you going to do the Afterburner to complete the set?
Thanks
Omni

1. it makes absolutely no differenceI looked over your combo board and compared it to your schematic and found two discrepancies on the board.

2. It is shown as 10k not 1k, but it should be 2k
3. yes
4. I am not using any capacitors
5. No

Thanks a million Baja, you da man!
This might be the project that brings me back to the hobby.....
My small contribution, somebody asked if the LF444 could be replaced with something else....Burr-Brown OPA4137.

For first I want to give many thanks to Bajaman (He is for me one Hero)
For second I want to give you my small work for the person that want to use the perfboard in this project.
Note: Excuse me for my bad English language.

Does anybody have hole through component layouts for all three EMG tone controls (SPC, EXG, and RPC)? I was thinking that it would be fun to build these into a stompbox with bypass switches for each control. Then you could use the EMG tone controls with all of your guitars and keep your standard wiring. I thought it might be cool to radically change your tone for solos. Any thoughts? I am a total newb to pedal building so thats why I haven't just done it on my own, but I thought this would be a cool beginner project for me.
I'm trying to combine the tone pots for the spc and exg into a concentric stacked pot, but i cant find a 100k/25k pot. All I can find is either a 100k/100k pot or a 25k/25k pot .
I'm guessing there's some way for me to add a resistor to one of the pots to make a 100/25 combo, but I'm a complete novice and need a hand. Is this possible, or is there some other solution I'm not thinking of?
Thanks!

A 33K resistor in parallel with one of the 100K pots will give you approximately a 24k8 pot. Close enough I think for what you want.UberStrat wrote:I'm guessing there's some way for me to add a resistor to one of the pots to make a 100/25 combo, but I'm a complete novice and need a hand.
