Hi all.

Just finished my build of this pedal and it is amazing so far.

A few questions

How sensitive is the eq? I only really hear major differences in the treble pot in the last 20-25% of the range. The bom has it as a linear pot... Should it be an audio taper?

I used a 1 meg linear pot to adjust the mid frequency, but I really don't hear a significant change when I sweep the pot. Similarly, I don't hear a major change when I adjust the mids. Note that I have not had a chance to run this thru my tube amp, only my tiny Yamaha thr 5

Last one: I am getting oscillations when the gain and/or levels are beyond about 2 o'clock. I am using shielded cables from the board to the switch, but I have seen photos where it doesn't look like people have used shielded cabling. There are significant amounts of wiring due to the pots, but I tried removing the board and separating the wires as much as possible but it still whistles. Any suggestions?

Hey Guys,
I've got a Dominator V1.3 on my workbench with a huge hum issue when not being played. I'm assuming it it's because it's such high gain that it emits a hum regardless. But can anyone help with that?

Here's that picture of version 1.3 for you all. I can't get to the back without desoldering the entire thing, and because it's not my pedal I can't do that.

I wonder If this is identical to the original schematic by Saruman. I want to try to build one but I don't have enough experience to draw the pcb board.I have managed to draw the original schematic in eagle (probably with mistakes) but could not manage to draw the pcb.

It looks like very identical to me instead of the TLC2262 -> TL072(original) , 7815T -> 78L15(original) and two BAT85 diodes instead of the three 1n4004 diodes(original).

All other parts are same instead of R19 10K -> 47K(original) , R28 220K -> 220K(original) but these don't change anything I guess..

Will it work if I change these parts with the ones in original schematic by Saruman? (TL072, 78L15 and 1n4004 diodes)

I made OKKO Dominator.
This layout is I've made and what someone is made to the reference.

And try to check what the finished, out the bass excess, treble was not enough.
(Even when the control is set to the extreme settings it was insufficient.)

Is this layout does not match the circuit diagrams?
(However, it does not have the Dominatrix specification.)
I was not able to solve this problem.
So, I want you to tell me if there is a mistake.

Since there is no way I can change the value of the C5 and C10, it was remodeled in in such a way that a good sound. .

The schematic on the 1st post does work, that is the one you need. And there's a working layout somewhere on this post, in a pdf file. I built one using that layout.
