You should try at least both in a live band situation and compare whose the real killer.
Agree... I also think Dime should do a layout! haha
Seriously- Dimes layouts are just as good as the best out there.

I have both and they are not direct competitors IMO.
Triple Wreck is more bassy, compressed, rectifier-ish pedal,
but Dominator is more dynamic, agressive and tighter.
3 position midrange switch of Dominator is very nice feature.

Any chance we can talk you into doing a layout for it?

-updated the charge pump diodes with schotty type (i'll try it Roseblood)

who had already made pcb with previous old versions can easily replace the TLC2274 with the TL074 without change anything

I built this Dominatrix 1.2 and I though its verified, but it isn't working. I found out that Q1 and Q2 should be turned around, they are facing wrong in the layout. Am I right?

I bought new BF245As (if the old ones were broken?) and this time I tried them with a socket. I also tried replacing the TL072 and TL074 without any progress. All the wires should be working, and I checked several times the PCB for short-circuits without finding any. And yes, I did those 4 jumpers.

When having the pedal plugged in to amp the bypass works fine. Putting the effect on mutes the guitar but adds some noise. Treble pot seems to add some highs to the noise and when touching the EQ pots I can hear crackle.

Any ideas where should I look for errors? Im being desperate with this :S

It seems IC1 was broken and yes, the BF245As had to be rotated. Now I get sound out from there and all pots are working fine, but it lacks gain. Even with gain pot maxed it sounds like a clean booster. Why would that be?

You made another mistake imho. Go over the circuit very closely again .

I built this beast today, using the rev.2 vero (https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic ... 20#p130576). It's my second vero-build, and it rocks! :D

I don't know yet. I haven't played them (loud) enough to find out ;) They both transformed the Special 6 combo i have in my living room to an insane metal machine though :)

The triple wreck was faster to finish though, and its tone controls seem to be more versatile. I really like the first impression of them both though! I also built the Dr. Boogey, which is a whole other mahine. Not as tight but just as growling and aggressive.
Next on my list is the seventheaven. This month is dedicated to hi-gain builds :)
