Hi guys;
Searching about the Chorus Ensemble CE-1, i figured out the clone made by Retrosonic and its not use ac power.

And a treble mod here: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=421377

Anyone have one to clone the clone?
Maybe any idea to sub the rare mn3002?
Thanks

This is a straight clone of the Ce-1, power supply come from a dc/dc converter (the black box under the cables in the 3rd photo) which feeds +- 15 volts into the circuit.
Is it possible to clone it,and if a number of people are interested we could even get some industrially manufactured boards.

Oh yes! This is very interesting circuit, especially DC/DC converter.
I have MN3010 IC (seems to be dual MN3002) and I've built a "multieffect" compressor-distortion-chorus-delay,
but still have a problem with 9V supply for chorus.
I tried to build converter with ICL7660S (first one then two of them) but they have too small current I think.
Maybe somebody have an idea how they made it in Retro-Sonic?

If this project could get legs, I would be VERY interested in a pcb group buy.
FWIW, I have an original CE-1 Chorus Ensemble here with me now from a repair.
Any information I could give for this, or has it all be covered already?

If we could get the BBD for an affordable price, we can do it easily. Murata produces that dc/dc converter.
