One is on it's way to me as we speak. Plus one other I've been looking for for a while.

frustrates me when demos show the pedal engaged, but no disengaged, so I don't know how much is amp/guitar and how much is pedal :x

this one shows that the base sound was already overdriven.. I want to hear the pedal into a clean amp, then engaged

here's one that does it better..

kinda almost has a fuzz /overdrive crossover sound to my ears.

Sounds nice, but well do we need another dirt pedal from CB?

Did he angrily mention a compressor and then insult everyone? No? Then it definitely wasn't pedalgrinder.

Sounds killer... But then again.. Andy can make anything sound perfect. I would venture 80% of that is his hands... I love my Original DLS but I could never make it sound like Andy he is INSANE!

Depending on your mood you can choose the dirt. Yesterday was a germaniun 69, today is a DLS,maybe tomorrow you will need a RAH.
I never get tired of dirt pedals

I had one for a couple months. Didn't use it enough to bother cracking it up open but it was definitely a cool pedal. I'd guess it's pretty similar to the WIIO but with the tone stack lifted directly from the JP Hiwatt scheme. Nic mentioned that was pretty critical to that sound on Facebook during a discussion a while back. I liked it better than the V1 and V2 WIIOs I've had for sure.

Damn, those demos by Catalinbread sound nice, but indeed no disengaged sounds so hard to really hear what the pedal does! Would love to build this though :)

+1

The CB demos always sound pretty suspicious... I still remember the differences between the WIIO's sound on samples and the real thing (completely different... less fullness and gain)
I bet that the amp used is already overdriven and not clean

Anothere demo , it's really nails that Zeppelin tone, especially when he does the Heartbreaker solo!

Got this guy traced, and it's pretty close to a stock wiio, with some crazy tone stack mods and smaller caps throughout.

Tone stack is a direct lift from the JP Hiwatt pre.

And called it.

I see Nocentelli beat me to it, but I might as well post my layout as well. Also unverified at this point.
