Wampler - Tweed '57 [traced]
I just picked up this pedal last week, and it sounds fantastic. Brian did an outstanding job on this pedal.
Anyway, I though I would post some pictures.....
I might try my hand at tracing this....I have never done it before.
thanks,
George

They're fine bro, but uploading them (attached to the post) is better idea
I didn't unsolder the pots...I could just bend them out of the way. I did have to unsolder the LED in order to see behind the middle pot.
Here you go...enjoy.
The last photo is a composite using my pitiful photoshop skills. You can see the whole solder side, except for beneath the toggle switch.

I just noticed that downloading the picture these are complete, not like seems on the forum.
So no more pictures are required. discard previous request same subject.
There is one IC on the top right side, diode/optocoupler... wha else can you tell us more about it ??
Red cap values are required indeed...

The print on the enclosure says "Vintage American Tone Structure", but the pot values are a perfect match for a scaled marshall tonestack

the tweed 59 bassman is the father of all early Marshalls,so yes,you can call it vintage american...grrrunge wrote:The print on the enclosure says "Vintage American Tone Structure", but the pot values are a perfect match for a scaled marshall tonestack

Obviously, amp history isn't my strongest feature I just dug out Duncans tone stack calculator, and compared the gut shots pot values with the standard models in DTSCalexradium wrote:the tweed 59 bassman is the father of all early Marshalls,so yes,you can call it vintage american...grrrunge wrote:The print on the enclosure says "Vintage American Tone Structure", but the pot values are a perfect match for a scaled marshall tonestack

it's too late for the resistor coding..... need the sun light ) (tomorrow will have less error possibility)
Attached so far what I've done... hope it help
Still missing :
1) Electrolitics caps value
2) Polyfilm red caps value
3) IC on the top left position name or value
4) Trans should be all J201 (pls confirm)
Indibeez, you are our eyes, pls let us see the light !
good night dyers!!!

I have added the markings on the orange caps to the picture....but didn't look up the values. I did add the values of the Electrolytic caps. The transistors are all J201 (with the addition markings of F BB25). The other chip in question is marked IRFD9024, with AE, and R06K below.
Also, though not easily seen on the photo, it appears that the number three lug of the A100K bass pot is soldered to the same solder-side trace as the number two lug.
What else do you need?
thanks,
