Looks like a Tone Machine to me.
The component choices, with all those dipped tantalum caps and green box caps, kinda give it an old MXR vibe.

Yeah

Looks like the vintage/modern switch goes between silicon and germanium diodes.

yeah, yeah, yeah. same stupid generic shit as usual. when will these retarded stupid bootweakers come up with an original design?
Oh wait....... they can't, because they are uneducated idiots who only know how to recycle the same tired designs over and over and claim it's their "original IP'.

"Intellectual Property" means nothing to me, because in the stompbox world it isn't worth a sous.

I definitely understand what you're saying - just a bit more "aggressive" post than normal....

this mp3 http://www.homebrewelectronics.com/sounds/UFO.mp3 sounds pretty much like the french toast I've played. I think there is no dishonor in making clones for a living. It's a fact of the free market. However i do think it is to mislead people into thinking it's something else.

What is the clipping on this unit? I see 2 Si diodes, a germanium diode and a 3mm green LED.....

Erreuh... aren't the components supposed to go on the other side of the perfboard? How is this soldered? Maybe UFO technology?

green perfboard more thick and solid compared to single sided brown perfboard
